In the opener, IMA manager Alex Cranmer clashes with his father, Christian, over what to do with their most valuable pieces. Elsewhere, staff members Chris and Paul risk their jobs by making unauthorized purchases of two rare, mint-condition World War II sniper rifles.

Alex wants to invest in a Korean War-era tank, even though his father would never approve of the purchase. Later, a Web vendor tries to sell the guys stolen goods.

Alex purchases a Jeep that was used in World War II, despite Christian's explicit orders not to, before an annual Battle of the Bulge reenactment, which is traditionally the company's biggest sales event of the year.

Alex heads to the Arizona desert to attend the Big Sandy Machine Gun Shoot, where thousands of collectors demo weapons of all sizes. While there, he makes a huge sale to a legendary gunsmith.

Alex tries to sell Christian's best items, which are hidden in a safe and explicitly off-limits, but Christian intervenes and then gets revenge by liquidating Alex's collectibles.

The IMA staff blow off steam with shooting contests during a slow business week, but the lack of sales puts added pressure on Alex.

Christian travels to Europe and spends a large amount of money on military collectibles, prompting Alex to try to make up the cash by selling Christian's 18th-century cannon.

Alex spends a day with a club that honours historical warfare. Later, increased business becomes overwhelming for the team; and Alex meets a collector in Florida who's willing to pay a large sum for a rare musket.

The guys reflect on the work they've done. Also: Christian presents Alex with a special gift.
