Firehouse
Firehouse is an American drama/adventure series that aired on ABC television series in early 1974. Somewhat derivative of Emergency! and the recent best-selling novel Report From Engine Co. 82 by FDNY fireman Dennis Smith, the series was set in Los Angeles at a small inner-city fire station. The five-man crew of Engine Company 23 was led by Captain Spike Ryerson, played by James Drury, fresh from his starring role of nine years on the western series The Virginian. A dramatic series which focuses on Engine Company 23, a group of firemen who put their lives on the line by fighting fires each day. These men are constantly involved in such human dramas as rescuing an old man from a roaring inferno, confronting the landlord of a firetrap tenement and restoring life to a woman overcome by fumes.

1. Burst of Flame
Captain Spike Ryerson and his firefighters successfully rescue a suicidal person with a net, only to be immediately dispatched to a fire in an office building. There, they find two window washers stranded on the roof and six employees trapped in an elevator on the 23rd floor, where the fire is centered. Myers and Caputo attempt to reach the elevator, but Caputo is incapacitated by smoke. Simultaneously, Ryerson and Dalzell arrive by helicopter, rescue the window washers, and discover the only access point to the fire is via the window washing scaffold.
2. Sentenced To Burn
The firemen work to save a bedridden man buried alive in a mudslide, and battle a blaze started by convicts at a state prison.

In fact, it is unknown if even any photographs survive of this programme.

Telecrime
Telecrime was a British drama series that aired on the BBC Television Service from 1938 to 1939 and in 1946. One of the first multi-episode drama series ever made, it is also one of the first television dramas written especially for television not adapted from theatre or radio. Having first aired for 5 episodes from 1938 to 1939, Telecrime returned in 1946, following the resumption of television after World War II, and aired as Telecrimes. A whodunit crime drama, Telecrime showed the viewer enough evidence to solve the crime themselves. Most episodes were written by Mileson Horton. All 17 episodes are lost. Aired live, their preservation was not technically possible at the time.
