Five : Thirty

Al-Ghanim’s son dies in a car accident, and his mother is shocked. Al-Ghanim urges Ghamar to return home to support his mourning family. Ghamar meets the family’s doctor for the first time.

In the first meeting between Bayan and Ghamar, he tells her that he is suspicious of his father’s condition, but she assures him that she is taking good care of his father. Their picture together is published in all magazines and newspapers. Bayan clashes with her hospital associates.

Ghamar tries to approach Bayan, but she kicks him out of the hospital when he shows concern about his father’s health. He tells his friend Gad that he likes Bayan, and he shows up to her birthday without an invitation.

Ghamar stalks Bayan, which enrages her as the media and newspapers talk about their relationship and she asks him to stay away from her. Ghamar is surprised to learn that his father entrusted him with running the company, which upsets his stepmother. Ghamar asks Bayan out for dinner.

Bayan starts to get along with Ghamar, and she admires his romantic attitude. Gad's mother and sister return from Syria. Ghamar starts engaging in politics to succeed his father. At the hospital, a plot is devised against Bayan to have her accused of stealing a medication shipment.

Bayan tells Ghamar that his father has cancer. Yara's fiancé beats her and she asks Bayan to stay with her. Al-Ghanim urges the members of the party to quickly make a decision about Ghamar taking over the party leadership.

Bayan and Ghamar’s relationship consolidates as they are deeply in love with one another. However, when Ghamar tries to get Bayan out of the dilemma she has got in, she gets mad and fights with him.

Bayan and Ghamar’s relation worsens when he suggests making someone cover up and take the blame for the crime she is accused of. Bayan starts considering the matter. Simultaneously, some people die of bad medication Bayan is accused of importing.

Ghamar convinces Bayan that the only way out of this mess is to waive her share in the hospital to her partners. He sees her mother for the first time since she abandoned her as a child. After clashes between Ghamar and his step-mom, he suspects she has caused Bayan these problems.

After Ghamar earns his position in the party, he announces his engagement to Bayan. Ghamar's stepmother plots against them as she invites a strange woman to their wedding ceremony.

Ghamar's stepmom is determined to turn their life into hell as she calls his ex-girlfriend Aida, and threatens to tell Bayan everything. Her plot changes as she decides to make Bayan feel estranged at her house.

Aida pretends to be Ghamar's cousin and pays them a visit, and Ghamar throws her out. The party officials visit Ghamar and Bayan to congratulate them.

Bayan thinks of opening up a private clinic to practice medicine. Her life is disturbed by a recurring nightmare where she is pushed off a building. Her relationship with her stepmother is still unstable, but she gets closer to Gad.

Bayan gets shot at when she’s going to sign a job offer with a medical center; she gets traumatized when Jad gets injured. While the two are getting closer to each other, she and Ghamar are drifting apart, as he is so focused on his career.

Bayan tries to convince Ghamar to move to Lebanon. She also wins the voting to build a charity hospital at the charity organization her mother-in-law heads. Jad tells Ghamar that terrorist groups are behind Bayan's shooting.

Ghamar is shocked to learn that his party had a hand in the shooting. Bayan and Jad are growing closer, and Jad thinks of resigning the party to clear this dilemma, but Ghamar declines. Al-Ghanim suspects things are going downhill for his son and his wife, but the wife tells him otherwise.

Bayan and Jad got more up-close and personal together while Ghamar is busy with his work. When Yara rejects Ramy's present, he gets mad as he quarrels with her and locks her up in an isolated place.

The love between Ghamar and Bayan is fading away, but she's surprised with an unexpected pregnancy. Al-Ghanim fears for his son's future and asks him to withdraw from the party elections, and asks Bayan to run instead, but she’s reluctant. Ghamar gets back with Aida.

Ghamar reveals to Bayan that his father killed his mother as she was depressed and he claimed she committed suicide. Ghamar quarrels with Bayan when he learns she has agreed to run for the party elections.

Al-Ghanim collapses during the party elections' conference. Susan hears him whispering his first wife's name while unconscious; she goes back home and burns all her belongings, which enrages Ghamar who later visits his father at the hospital and blames him for everything.

Bayan heads the party when Al-Ghanim dies. Ghamar quits politics and focuses on his business. The couple agrees not to separate and to raise their child together. Ghamar gets closer with Aida, and Bayan with Jad. A conflict arises between the party and Ghamar's company for causing pollution.

Bayan launches a campaign against Ghamar's company and suspends its operations; he suspects that Mosaad, his assistant, helped her. Jad tries to confess his feeling for Bayan, while his cousin tells him she is in love with him. Yara iss imitating Bayan in every way possible.

Jad advises Bayan to separate from Ghamar as things escalate between them and they start fighting in front of their kid. Jad finally speaks up and confesses his feelings towards her.

Ghamar quarrels with Asaad for supporting Bayan, and he decides to rip off her program. Yara tries to get closer to Jad who proposes to Bayan. Bayan rejects Jad for her sole purpose is to look after her son. Jad decides to get engaged to Yara.

Bayan decides to quit the party and runs for the parliament. Ghamar tries to get back with her when Aida leaves him. Bayan fights with Jad over his engagement, while Yara tries to work her way to win him.

Bayan continues to reproach Jad for taking Yara as a fiancée; he tells her Ghamar suspects she is seeing someone. Aida plots with Susan to incite Bayan's jealousy so she would ask for a divorce.

Bayan asks for divorce when she learns that Ghamar is cheating on her. Things get complicated as the couple quarrels over the custody of their son. Ghamar suspects that Bayan is seeing Jad.

Bayan and Ghamar are invited to a TV show, so they agree to put up a happy family appearance, and she decides to drop the divorce to maintain her political situation as strong. Jad tells Bayan he married her cousin.

Despite their agreement, things get heated between Bayan and Ghamar, and she threatens to reveal Ghamar's secrets. Jad leaves his bride on their wedding night and he takes Bayan out. Yara plots with Ghamar to snoop on Bayan.

Jad and Bayan find out about Yara's betrayal. Bayan runs away with Jad, but she gets scandalized over social media, which allows Ghamar to take away her son. Years later, when she's finally able to meet her son, she dies in a suspicious accident.
