1. A Marriage of Convenience
He Wei Fang agrees to marry Liu Chang to save her mother, but her life after marriage has been tough. Despite the hardships, she remains composed and patient. One day, the Liu family goes behind her back and digs up the prized peonies in her courtyard for a flower banquet. Distraught, she resolves to protect the keepsakes left by her mother.

Jiang Chang Yang and the County Princess attend the Yang family's flower banquet. The County Princess keeps making life difficult for He Wei Fang.
3. A Certain Divorce
Liu Shen finds out that He Wei Fang is visiting the shops. He's afraid that she might foil his plan of selling the shops. He goes to stop her. During the chaos, Yu Lu, her servant, falls into the water while trying to defend her mistress. He Wei Fang kneels and begs the Liu family to rescue her.
4. Rekindling Old Flames
Jiang Chang Yang pledges his support to the County Princess and helps her arrange a private meeting with Liu Chang. At the Shuiyu Pavilion, the County Princess and Liu Chang reminisce about their past relationship, while He Wei Fang begins to execute her plans.

21. Identity Exposed
Li You Zhen learns that Liu Chang has been frequenting a tavern, and directly across the street is Blooming Abode, which turns out to be He Wei Fang's business. Li You Zhen confronts the Liu family and demands that Liu Shen report He Wei Fang's true identity to the authorities.

He Wei Fang is sentenced to serve as a government slave in the military. The camp's commanding officer uses the slaves as live targets to train the recruits in archery.

Sheng Yi returns to the temple ruins where she started the business with Mu Dan and prays for the deity to let Mu Dan return safely. Mu Dan appears and questions Sheng Yi as to why she betrayed her.

Blooming Abode's branch is officially opened in the Eastern market. He Wei Fang and Da Fu dress up to welcome their customers.
