Fractures
Drama series about Kristín, an emergency doctor who moves with her teenage daughter back to her parents' home in a small fishing village, following her own husband's affair. Kristín, who is grounded and rational, quickly realises she is out of her comfort zone communicating with her mother, a medium, and finds herself forced to look the ghosts of her past directly in the eye.

1. Somewhere, Sometime...
Ghosts from the past encircle the emergency doctor Kristín as she moves with Lilja, her teenage daughter, back home to her parents in Hólmafjörður as she tries to recuperate after discovering her husband's affair. She starts work at the local healthcare centre and needs to prove to old friends that she is a competent manager and doctor.

2. It's a Piece of Cake
Kristín is worried that her mother is not taking her medication and Lilja feels an uncomfortable connection to the world of her grandmother. When Kristín takes part in a search & rescue mission, she needs to work closely with Ragnar, a policeman who is also her ex.

3. Freaking Out
The secretary at the healthcare centre, who has used their position for years to sell alternative remedies, reject's Kristín's ban on the practice, with severe consequences. At the same time, the problems in Kristín's private life mount up.

4. Weapons and defenses
Kristin is surprised to find that she still has feelings for Ragnar, but when her husband shows up unexpectedly, she's tempted to accept his apologies.

5. Two steps forward and one step back
Lilja notices bruises on Matti that he begs her to ignore. Ragnar tries to fight his feelings for Kristin and is also struggling with his conscience regarding his younger brother, Siggi, Hanna's husband and Matti's father.

6. The mountains have woken up
Having spent intimate moments with Ragnar, Kristin stalls an inevitable moment of truth. A secret must be told. When Kristin discovers that Lilja and Matti are involved, she knows that she has to put her own feelings aside

7. In a blue shade
Lilja has been surly for a week and Kristin has no idea why, until Lilja finally explodes, accusing Kristin of having ruined her life. Kristin, distraught, turns to her ex-husband for help.

8. Mom, I can see
Johanna hasn't been taking her meds and now has gone into a full-blown manic episode. She sets off on a journey where worlds collide and she believes she has powers beyond natural limits.
