Hailey Dean was a DA prosecutor, now a therapist. Her investigator friend Finch's old marine buddy gets murdered and the MP investigating calls it a random mugging. Hailey helps Finch investigate.

Hailey, ex DA's prosecutor now therapist, helps the police when the CEO of a hospital dies while a patient and Hailey's coroner boyfriend finds she's been poisoned.
9. Killer Sentence
Hailey Dean knows District Attorney Paulina D'Orazio is innocent of the murder of a man she once put behind bars and must do all she can to prove it in the face of mounting evidence.
