Hanasaki Mai Speaks Out
Hanasaki Mai is but an ordinary employee of a bank, with zero diplomacy. She doesn't think twice about pointing out her boss' mistakes. Her job is to investigate any wrongdoings in the bank branches. She is the voice of the suppressed staff who are unable to go against their bosses. Her partner is the veteran staff, Soma Ken, whose career with the bank had reached a dead end, no promotions in sight. Together, they resolve all the non-compliance issues at the bank.

Mai joins Tokyo Daiichi Bank's internal inspection department, where she reunites with a former colleague. They head out for their first assignment.

Letters of protest from women who paid large sums to a suspicious marriage agency financed by the Aoyama Branch prompt Mai and Soma to investigate.
3. Episode 3
A delighted Mai looks forward to helping with bank teller duties at the Kamata Branch until she realizes how cruelly the branch manager treats others.

A young, promising bank employee vanishes without explanation. As Mai and Soma look into the disappearance, the man's mother bursts into the bank.

A bored Mai jumps at the chance to visit the branch where she used to work, but a startling bank inspection gets underway just as she and Soma arrive.

After a story alleging sexual harassment from a branch manager appears in a weekly magazine, Mai and Soma are tasked with finding the accuser.

After a friend plays matchmaker and introduces Mai to a handsome restaurant owner, one of his employees approaches Mai with concerns about bribery.

An elderly friend sets Mai up with a charming banker. But Mai grows suspicious of his intentions toward her friend when his bank files for bankruptcy.
