After his mother dies, 14-year-old Taro moves into his grandfather to the Hanaukyo mansion in Tokyo. Soon after he arrives, his grandfather disappears. He inherits the huge estate and his grandfather harem of beautiful young maids. Aired as part of Anime Complex, but was cut short due to production issues. Rebooted, later, as "Hanaukyo Maid Team: La Verite."

Taro's mother has passed. He travel's to his grandfather's Tokyo mansion. There he is greeted by dozens of maids and short film. In the film, his grandfather explains going stay in paradise and leave his mansion and maids to Taro.
2. A Pleasant School Life
Taro's first day at his new school. He arrives in a helicopter and is miraculously successful in every thing he does.
3. Inventive Girl and the Unusual Midsummer Event
Taro stays home from school and explores his new home. He finds courage and happiness while losing his shirt.
4. A Rival (One-Sided) Appears
An ill-tempered member of a rival family introduces herself. She talks down to Taro and gets a double-helping of karma.
5. A New Face Returns
The head of the security returns. Taro quickly learns he's not the true Master of the estate.
6. A Pleasant School Life: Mission 2
Taro is getting suspicious of his luck in school.

8. Hanukyo's Family Brain
Within the Hanaukyo household, the "brain" is a supercomputer named MEMOL, which runs the mansion's entire system. The computer security department is overseen by Cynthia/Grace, making her the "brains" of the operation.
9. A Day Without Maids
Taro finds himself alone in the mansion, forcing him to take care of himself. This provided him with an important opportunity for personal reflection and growth, away from the constant, overwhelming service of the maids.
10. Going the Extra Mile
The maids' overenthusiastic attempts to serve and pamper their new master often lead to chaotic, comical, or embarrassing situations for the shy Taro.
11. A Sudden Proposal
Taro is developing feelings for Mariel, the head maid, when he receives a shocking revelation.He is informed that he has an arranged marriage to Ryuka Jihioh, a member of a rival family. Ryuka is not pleased with the arrangement and is particularly annoyed to find that the new head of the rival family is a "whiny midget". To settle who is the better match for Taro, Ryuka challenges Mariel to a series of competitions.
12. Happy Birthday
Following the dramatic events of the previous episodes, a sense of tranquility returns to the Hanaukyo household.
13. I'll Protect Grace
The sentiment is expressed by protagonist Taro, who vows to protect the two personalities, and is also embodied by Grace, who originally came into existence to protect Cynthia.
14. Anticipation for Konoe
Konoe, known for her severe personality, takes it upon herself to help Taro become a more proper and responsible master of the mansion.

Ikuyo tricking or duping Taro into spending a day disguised as a maid.
