Hank Zipzer
12-year-old Henry ‘Hank’ Zipzer is a smart and resourceful boy with a unique perspective on the world. Hank has dyslexia, and when problems arise, he deals with them in a way no-one else would – putting him on a direct collision course with his teachers and parents, who don’t seem to appreciate his latest scheme as much as he thought they would... But, Hank always remains positive and convinced that the next big plan will deliver – after all, tomorrow is another day!

Ms Adolf gives the pupils an assignment to write an essay about their summer holidays. Hank decides to build a model of his holiday at Niagara Falls.

2. The Lucky Socks
A lucky pair of sparkly pink socks helps Hank's softball skills, but he and Emily argue when she needs them back as a lucky charm on the day of her quiz.

3. The Curtain Went Up, My Trousers Went Down
The school play is looming and Hank is the lead star, but he is struggling to remember his lines and is facing trouble from school bully McKelty. Fortunately, he finds an unlikely ally in his maths tutor Heather.

4. Battle of the Goblins
The accident-prone boy breaks his and Frankie's science project, and then messes up when trying to collect a game for his friend. He finally thinks he may have finally found a solution to his problems - but disaster strikes again.

5. Haunted Hank
Nick McKelty oversteps the mark when he picks on Hank's little sister Emily. To get revenge, Hank decides to make the world's scariest haunted house.

6. The War of Words
Rosa decides that Stan and Hank need to bond and she signs them up for the school debate competition, while she pairs up with Emily.

7. The Day I Flunked Chemistry
Hank thinks new boy Ben is totally cool, and is amazed to discover that the feeling is mutual. But will Ben feel the same if he finds out about Hank's learning difficulties? Hank isn't willing to take the risk and so decides not to tell him. That plan has disastrous consequences when Hank misreads an experiment, leading to the evacuation of the science block.

8. The Mortadella Disaster
The 12-year-old gets a terrible school report, and while trying to hide it from his mother accidentally throws it into the deli mincer - where it is made into sausage. Unfortunately, Rosa is using the batch for a tasting with an important potential client, leaving Hank needing a plan to replace the contaminated food.

9. Who Ordered the Baby?
A plan to work at his mother's deli to make money for a new pair of trainers is disrupted when Hank is given a school assignment to look after a pretend baby. He soon learns that he cannot juggle the two of them at once, but the real trouble begins when he accidentally swaps his fake infant for a real one.

10. I Think I Broke My Dad
Stan is dismayed to find out Hank has been avoiding him, so he tries to become a 'cool dad ', which includes playing in the school rock band.

11. The Week I Became a Genius
It is the last week of term and most of the school are taking part in a fun activities week. Except Hank, who has to perform a presentation on Einstein.

12. Anyone for Lizard?
Hank is chosen to host the Japanese exchange student. But when McKelty steals his permission slip, Hank may not be allowed to take part after all.

13. The First Date Dilemma
Hank meets a cool girl, Zoe, in Mr Rock's additional reading class and falls head over heels in love. He asks her on a date, but it ends in disaster.
