Having grown up in a world of manufactured happiness, Lucy, the cynical teenage daughter of a idealistic theme park princess mom, wants to get out and experience something real. When Ian, the new park owner's son, arrives and sweeps her off her feet, Lucy is left wondering if fairy tale endings do exist after all. But when a scandalous secret turns her life upside down, she learns Happyland is far from a walk in the park.

James Chandler, president of Happyland moves back to the theme park with his family in tow. Lucy is on a quest to get away from the park's manufactured happiness and be part of something real. Elena reveals a secret to Lucy.

2. Price of Admission
Lucy is determined to talk to James Chandler. A house party with in Dazzle (the Happyland owned town) brings a new flirtation in the form of a college intern and a fight with Harper that leaves Lucy reeling.

3. Never Break Character
Lucy and Ian must pass character training together to continue getting paid, and with a looming eviction Lucy is highly motivated Ian however is not.

4. Park Maintenance
At an employee only night in Happyland, Lucy is on an emotional rollercoaster after catching Harper with Ian. Though her attempts to repair her Happyland family fail, a new crush Noah might take the pain away.

5. Repeated Infractions
When Lucy and Noah run into Ian and Harper while out, it becomes an awkward double date. Will's job is more than he bargained for.

6. Disorderly Conduct
Noah makes plans to visit his college while Will and Ian bond.

7. Leave of Absence
Will and Lucy consider the nature of their relationship; a family friend holds a super fan wedding at the park; a wedding guest hinders Elena and James' romance.
