Paranormal investigator and documentary filmmaker Steve Shippy visits Midwestern towns that have been traumatized for generations by ripples of fear. Shippy uses his own personal experiences to make intimate connections with the families who’ve reached out to him for help. He then puts the puzzle pieces together to identify and decipher the larger mystery of the town’s haunting.

1. The Watchman
Steve Shippy is called to the village of Merrill, Michigan, to investigate an evil entity tormenting a young girl. With the help of a local historian, Steve discovers the town’s long-forgotten traumatic past and its connection to the girl’s home.
2. I Am Red Death
Steve heads to Greeneville, Tennessee, where a decades-long haunting has resulted in an unspeakable tragedy. With the help of local law enforcement, he uncovers the Bible Belt town’s dark past and its connection to the victim’s family.
3. Descent Into Madness
Steve travels to Holly Springs, Mississippi, where a family is being tormented by the ghost of a psychiatric patient. He uncovers a dark secret that has haunted the town for over a century, and it may be the key to putting the spirit to rest.
4. Face of Evil
Steve travels to Hebron, Kentucky, to investigate an evil entity attacking a local woman in her home. He and his team uncover a strange chain of events surrounding the property, but the closer they get to answers, the more violent the spirit becomes.
5. The Binding
Steve travels to Atchison, Kansas, to investigate an angry presence terrorizing a brother and sister. The investigation leads him to one of America's most-haunted homes and the realization that every part of the town has been touched by the paranormal.
6. Come Play
Steve ventures to Malvern, Iowa, where a little girl's ghost haunts a small farming village. Who is this little girl? And what does she want? The answers shock Steve and his crew as they must bind together to confront something far more sinister.
