1. Up to the Mountain
Aunt Dete takes Heidi up to the mountains to meet her grandfather. Along the way, Heidi hears stories about him and begins to worry.

2. First Day in the Mountains
Grandfather sends Heidi out to the meadow with Peter, his "Goat General." The two don't get along, but when trouble strikes, they form a bond.

3. The Challenge
When Karl and his gang capture Heidi, Peter challenges the bully to a dangerous climb. But things don't go quite as planned.

4. Save Chippy
Heidi goes searching for a plant that will help her save a wounded bird, and stumbles across Peter's secret hiding place in the woods.

5. The Treehouse Oath
In the village, Heidi hears Karl plotting to find and attack Peter's tree house. She rushes to warn her friend, and together they make a plan.

6. A Night Out
Worried that Grandfather is going to send her to school, Heidi runs away. Meanwhile Grandfather gets a surprising letter from Aunt Dete.

7. For a Loaf of Bread
After Theresa tricks Heidi into "buying" bread that belongs to someone else, Heidi must prove to the town that she isn't a thief.

8. Trapped in the Manor
Karl and Theresa chase Heidi and Peter to Grandfather's old house in the village. The girls end up trapped in the attic, where no one can hear them.

9. Beware of the Wolf
Villagers set out to hunt a wolf that threatened one of their goats. Meanwhile, Heidi is alone in the woods, where she finds a young wolf cub.

10. Peter's Treasure
As spring returns, Peter discovers the treasure he kept hidden in the shed has vanished. He and Heidi set a trap for the thieves.

11. Attack the Treehouse
After Karl and Theresa invade the treehouse, Heidi and Peter can't agree on what to do. Heidi turns to Grandfather for help.

12. Save Sweetheart
Heidi and Theresa decide to put their differences aside as they race to save one of the goats.

13. The End of Spring
Heidi is finally ready to become a "Goat General"! But her excitement fades when Aunt Dete arrives to take her back to the city.

14. Clara
In the city, Heidi is sent to help Clara, a young girl in a wheelchair. First she must get past the girl's stern governess, Miss Rottenmeier.

15. The Bell Tower
Longing for a glimpse of the mountains, Heidi sneaks out to the cathedral bell tower. But she'll need help to escape Miss Rottenmeier's suspicions.

16. The Promise
When Miss Rottenmeier punishes Heidi for sneaking kittens into the house, Clara must find a way to save the cats from a terrible fate.

17. Papa Returns
The girls are eager to show Clara's father how much she has improved with Heidi's help. But an accident gets Heidi in trouble with the family.

18. Home Schooled
Back from summer break, Clara's teacher discovers that Heidi doesn't know how to read or write. Clara tries to help so they can have lessons together.

19. Let's Make a Show
Clara's grandmother, a former actress, swoops in and decides to put on a play with the girls. Heidi begins to get excited about reading.

20. At the Park
Grandmamma takes the girls to the park, where they meet a new friend. But Clara grows jealous when Heidi and Rudy start running after butterflies.

21. Clara Stands
Worried that Clara has given up on walking, Heidi and Grandmamma try everything to cheer her up. Clara starts training in secret to surprise them.

22. Goats in the City
While Miss Rottenmeier is out of town, Heidi and Clara bring home a sick baby goat. Meanwhile, the butler has a surprise for Aunt Dete.

23. The Resignation
When the goat drives Miss Rottenmeier to quit in a huff, Clara is very upset. Heidi decides there's only one way to get the governess to stay.

24. A Tree for Shelter
Now that Clara can stand, Heidi assumes she'll be going back to the mountains. But she learns Clara's father has a different plan for her.

25. The Ghost
As summer arrives, Heidi misses the mountains more than ever. Meanwhile, Miss Rottenmeier and Clara's father investigate strange sounds in the night.

26. The Letter
Heidi is upset when Grandfather doesn't reply to her letter. She soon learns her letter was never sent -- and someone in the house still has it.

27. Back to Dörfli
Heidi says goodbye to Clara and returns to the mountains at last. But Grandfather didn't get her message, and is packing his bags to leave.

28. A New Goat in the Herd
Heidi steps in as Goat General while Peter rushes off to help a trapped Karl. Her skills are put to the test when Peter's goat gives birth.

29. The Broken Statue
Heidi and Grandfather move to the Manor so she can go to school. Theresa's family is not happy to see them, but Theresa needs Grandfather's help.

30. The Brooch
Peter can't afford the medicine his grandmother needs, so Heidi pays for it with a family heirloom. But a winter storm creates a new problem.

31. The School Test
The day of an important test at school, Peter finds someone has opened the gate to let all his goats out. He has to make a difficult choice.

32. Scavenger Hunt
Before moving to another village, Karl holds a scavenger hunt to give away his fossil collection. Heidi realizes why Theresa is so desperate to win.

33. Goats Hour
Clara arrives to visit Heidi, but Miss Rottenmeier refuses to let her stay in the cabin. The girls hatch a risky plan to change her mind.

34. The Storm
Miss Rottenmeier sets out to find the girls in the mountains but loses her way as a big storm moves in.

35. The Devil's Bridge
As Grandfather tries to finish building a bridge he started long ago, he's haunted by nightmares. Heidi and Clara try to piece together what happened.

36. Friedrich
Miss Rottenmeier is startled to see a face from her past in the village. When the man starts working for Grandfather, she threatens to leave.

37. The Wheelchair
Jealous of the time Heidi is spending with Clara, Peter steals Clara's wheelchair. The friends have a terrible fight -- which leads to a surprise.

38. Forgiven
When Clara's father and Grandmamma come to visit, Peter fears they're after him and runs away. Heidi tries to convince him to come back.

39. The Edelweiss
As the village celebrates the completion of Grandfather's bridge, Heidi and Clara plan a picnic. But will family tensions ruin the fun?
