Kikuru is about to quit his job as a hunter when the lovely Hitamu and Maidena turns his life upside down.

Kikuru's training for new recruits is about to come to a halt in front of two new guards, single-minded and Maidena...meanwhile, a new member of the guild was Toxicko Danner, a black magician who apparently has zero motivation. Kikuru hangs his head at the quest with a new problem child. However, unexpectedly, Toxico released a super-powerful attack magic...!

A promiscuous martial artist, a lame genius white magician, a lazy black magician who manipulates magic that doesn't hit, and a seemingly perfect drunken runaway warrior...Kikuru gives the four people who have no teamwork a vacation under the pretext of friendship. Fashion check, sweets at the cafe, and love banners...! While the women's party is lively, Kikuru, who feels uncomfortable with the recent behavior of monsters, asks Enome for advice.

Guild health checkup at the beginning of the year. Due to a mistake made by nurse Les Smith, the doctor leaves halfway through the checkup. Fearing that his mistake will be discovered, Lesmith pleads with Kikuru to pretend to be a doctor and perform the rest of the diagnosis, but...the remaining patients are, above all, a group of 4 rookie guards! Kikuru and the others are engaged in combat training on the Aoba plains. Kikuru desperately stops Hanabata, who tries to activate madness when he's outnumbered. In fact, Kikuru's true training goal was to restrain himself from Hanabata's uncontrollable madness. Kikuru and his friends take a break after achieving some success. There, Kikuru gives Hanabata a mana bottle (magic recovery potion) for hydration, but...

Kikuru and Maidena head to the Mebuki Forest for a collection quest. The target this time is "Damalpina", a flower that scatters pollen with a "silence" effect. The group is a little relaxed with quests that aren't demon subjugation, but...a monster's long tail entangles Meidena, who accidentally bathed in pollen while she was acting alone.

During a rescue operation in the forest, Kikuru discovers one of Toxico's previously secret abilities. Meanwhile, the rest of the group find themselves in a slippery situation again.

Kikuru and Toxico set a clever trap for the repelling spider, but once again things don't go well with their plan.

With the spider case over, Kikuru and her companions return to their daily lives, however, a new threat approaches the group.

The routine resumes, and with it, the setbacks to which Kikuru has become accustomed. The failure of the last patrol does not seem to affect him more than usual, but Hanabata begins to doubt and asks Enome for advice.

Kikuru continues to train his new recruits, but Toxico and Maidena struggle to spend more than five minutes together without falling out. On the other side, Hanabata's special training begins under Enome.

Finally, payday is here! Hitamuki and the others happily accept their reward after these hellish quests, but ultimately realize Kikuru's daily sacrifice to keep them alive. So they decide to return the favor during his precious day off…
