Seasons
1. Part 1
Adventure series set in the twelfth century. England is suffering under the rule of Prince John. Ivanhoe is makinh his way back home disguised as a pilgram after being wrongly disgraced for betraying Richard whilst in Palestine. He reaches his fathers house just in time for his beloved Rowena to be betrothed to a Saxon prince. Ivanhoe's enemy Bois-Guilbert is also back fom the crusades. He orders the death of Isaac of York but Ivanhoe intervenes.
2. Part 2
Second part of the six part adaptation of the Walter Scott novel. Prince John's tournament pits Saxons against Normans. Ivanhoe takes an assumed name at the tournament to try and uphold Saxon honour. He is funded by Isaac who is also raising money to pay for King Richard's ransom. Prince John wants de Bois- Guilbert to humiliate the Saxons but he hasn't counted on the intervention of Robin of Locksley and his men, together with King Richard.
3. Part 3
Third part of the six part adventure. After Ivanhoe's victory at the tournament he is being cared for by Rebecca and her father Issac. Rebecca is smitten by Ivanhoe and her father warns her about becoming involved. Bois-Guilbert plans an ambush to release Rowena into a marriage with Sir Maurice de Bracy. The ambush goes wrong and many Saxons are taken to Torquilstone Castle including Ivanhoe. Gurth and Wamba enlist the help of King Richard, Robin of Locksley and Friar Tuck to try and free those imprisoned.
4. Part 4
Fourth part of the adaptation of the Sir Walter Scott novel. Bois-Guilbert has become obsessed with Rebecca who along with Ivanhoe is being held in Torquilstone castle. Wamba arrives at the prison dressed as a priest and there is an attack by King Richard and the outlaws to free the prisoners including Rowena. During the battle De Bracy offers to save Rowena if she agrees to marry him and not Athelstane. As Torquilstone burns Bois-Guilbert flees with Rebecca to the monastery at Templestowe. Meanwhile Prince John has decided to get rid of his brother and de Beaumanoir arrives at Templestowe determined to impose strict discipline on the warrior monks.
5. Part 5
Fifth part of the six part adaptation of Scott's novel. Bois-Guilbert is attempting to flee to France with Rebecca. Issac arrives at the Templestowe monastery to try and rescue his daughter. His attempt backfires as Lucas de Beaumanoir discovers that Rebecca and Bois-Guilbert are hiding in the monastery. He believes she is a scorceress and threatens to burn her at the stake. Meanwhile Prince John and Fitzurse plot to assassinate King Richard- but the planned ambush goes wrong and Fitzurse dies.
6. Part 6
Final part of the adaptation of Sir Walter Scott's novel. De Beaumanoir has ordered that Rebecca be burnt at the stake. She refuses Bois-Guilbert's offer to save her and insists on trial by combat. She sends her father to find Ivanhoe to fight for her. Athelstane appears at his own funeral which jeopardises Rowena and Ivanhoe's wedding plans. King Richard has returned to claim the throne off John and Queen Eleanor has to try and resolve their differences.
