Jana begins her job at the Prosecutors office in Norrköping by helping to investigate the murder of a migration board member - without revealing that she knew the victim and hopes to unlock the secrets of her own past.
2. Episode 2
When the killer is found dead with a mysterious scar, Jana gets a shock. She herself has a similar scar. This link drives her to pursue the case relentlessly, clashing with colleagues and putting her in harm's way.
3. Episode 3
After a brutal confrontation, Jana must hide her own involvement in the case from colleagues and family. She commits herself to finding the truth, no matter the cost, and is shocked to the core by a horrifying discovery.
4. Episode 4
Strange visions leave Jana scared that her sanity is slipping. She can barely hold it together as the pressure mounts in her professional and personal life. From nowhere a forgotten, supposedly long-dead figure emerges.
5. Episode 5
In a race to find those behind a series of atrocities going back decades, Jana finds herself facing a person who reminds her of herself. Can this person be trusted, saved? As the noose tightens, the violence increases.
6. Episode 6
Tragedy strikes, and the case seems to have been solved, but the loose ends won’t leave Jana or her colleagues in peace. Risking everything to learn the truth about her childhood, she returns to the source of her trauma.
