Legends of Hockey: Greatness Calling 2000-2020
Legends of Hockey: Greatness Calling 2000-2020 is an 11-part series that honors and celebrates the players and plays of a lifetime and their enduring legacy. A follow-up to Network's award-winning Legends of Hockey, the series showcases the stories of players inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame over the past 20 years and was produced in partnership with the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Seasons
1. A Fiery Road to Greatness
The Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames battled for supremacy from 1984 until the decade's end. The Stanley Cup was competed for 7 times on Alberta soil by a stampede of future hockey hall of famers.
2. Best Defense is Offense
The 1980's was the highest scoring decade in the NHL. The fans would remain standing as goal scoring was plentiful. The high-octane offense teams dominated the decade and set the trend.
3. The Trailblazers
Women have played hockey as long as the men. For many years women's hockey fell into obscurity, then in the 1990's a treasure trove of talent would emerge and bring the women's game to prominence.
4. College Recruits
It's a tough road to the NHL and most chose the route of junior hockey, but by the 1980's players would emerge from the US colleges and not only make it to the NHL, but become Hall of Famers.
5. Against All Odds
Despite being late round draft picks or not drafted at all, this group of future Hall of Famers were essentially on the outside looking in and had to overcome the odds just to get an NHL tryout.
6. Scoring at the Draft
From first overall picks to hidden gems, this episode features a cast of stars that emerged from the NHL draft. This...is scoring at the draft.
7. Defending with Honour
Winning requires exceptional defense and countless players have risen to the challenge to defend against the opposition, but only a select few have spent their entire careers defending with honor.
8. Saving the Day
It's the most thankless, under-appreciated, yet most important position in hockey. These goaltender's can steal a game for his team. This episode features the greatest goalies of the modern era.
9. The Art of the Game
From behind the Iron Curtain comes a wave of superstar talent that takes the game to even a higher level of skill and speed.
10. The Legacy Continues
A unique few Hall of Fame players transcend their careers on the ice to become architects in the front office of great franchises.

In this bonus episode, we highlight the Scandinavian players inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame 2022 class including Daniel Alfredsson, Riikka Sallinen, Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin.
