Elite office worker Masato Kamishiro (Hiroki Narimiya) and his wife Mio (Miori Takimoto) were living a smooth-sailing married life. But one day, Mio realizes that a photo sent by Masato, who was supposed to be away on a business trip, is an alibi photo he picked up from the internet. A hint of doubt is brought into their peaceful daily life. Furthermore, a "murder of a female journalist" has occurred in the neighborhood, and it has been making the news day after day with the culprit still at large. Something begins to fall apart behind the scenes of their happy marriage...
2. Beautiful Day
Detective Tomizawa (Yamaguchi Makiya) visits Mio Kamishiro (Takimoto Miori), who works at a patisserie, to investigate the "murder of a female journalist." The victim, Yuhi Minamizawa (Kumada Rinka), frequently visited the patisserie, despite not liking sweets. Furthermore, a mysterious man (Hosoda Yoshihiko) who moved into the room next to the Kamishiro couple has been watching and eavesdropping on Masato Kamishiro (Narimiya Hiroki) and Mio. Meanwhile, a new incident unfolds.

Masato Kamishiro (Hiroki Narimiya) tries to calm the anxious Mio, but behind the scenes he has been meeting with investor Masumi Nagano (Mariko Tsutsui). Masato Kamishiro (Hiroki Narimiya) and Mio (Mio Takimoto) promise to hold their wedding just the two of them on their wedding anniversary trip. Mizuki Segawa (Reina Matsui), a psychiatrist, is worried that Mio's dependency on Masato is getting worse. Detective Inspector Tomizawa (Yamaguchi Makiya) decides to start the investigation into the murders of Minamisawa Yuhi (Kumada Rinka) and Koizumi Ayaha (Minamisawa Yuhi) from scratch. Meanwhile, Masato and Mio (Takimoto Miori) are preparing for their wedding anniversary trip. Masato's plan to murder Mio for the insurance money reaches its final stage. His former lover Nagano Masumi (Tsutsui Mariko) appears. Meanwhile, Ishiguro Souma (Hosoda Yoshihiko) contacts Mio and the turbulent final chapter begins.

Masato Kamishiro (Hiroki Narimiya) and Mio set off on an anniversary trip to plan the murder of Mio (Miori Takimoto). Souma Ishiguro (Yoshihiko Hosoda) chases after them to stop them, but Masato notices them. Meanwhile, the police are in an uproar after it is revealed that Masato's ex-wife, Aya Kamishiro (Noriko Aoyama), was also murdered. Mio has complete faith in Masato. In an empty chapel, the two of them hold a wedding ceremony, but a desperate chase between Masato, Ishiguro, and the police begins.
