The seal that for hundreds of years had confined the demon king Giri has worn off. A young boy named Nike is chosen (against his will) as the hero. Together with Kukuri, a girl who is the lone survivor of the tribe that had used black magic to seal Giri, they set off to save the world, RPG style.

1. Departure! Boering Village!
-Long ago, the Demon King was sealed away thanks to the special magic known as Guru Guru. 300 years later, he has returned, and humanity is waiting for a hero who will rise up to oppose him. Unfortunately for them, all they'll get instead are the lazy Nike and the naive Kukuri, who set out on an adventure to save the world.
2. Dance! North Town!
The northern town of North is plagued by misfortune now that monsters have moved into nearby Saw Mountain. Our heroes are unsure about whether they can help liberate the town, but when a monster kidnaps Kukuri and a local girl, Nike doesn't have much of a choice but to take action.
3. Battle! On Saw Mountain!
What are the secrets of Guru Guru? Even Kukuri, the last known inheritor of the magic techniques, doesn't know for sure. It's just then when a mysterious woman appears who may have some answers.
4. Off to the Training House!
Nike and Kukuri meet with a mysterious society, and that meeting sends them on a quest to gain the strength to beat the Demon King.
5. Rescue! Dohgma Village!
While Kukuri's Guru Guru training proceeds, Nike has to team up with the priestess Juju to save the village of Dohgma.
6. A Rival Appears! Yondor Village!
With their training complete, Nike and Kukuri continue their journey only to run into a fearsome new rival.
7. Discovery! The Fairy Forest!
The quest continues as Nike and Kukuri arrive in a fairy village, where the elder offers to share new Guru Guru secrets in exchange for the defeat of a nearby monster.
8. Reunion! Cattongue Valley!
Nike and Kukuri are reunited with an old friend, and head to Cattongue Valley in pursuit of the daemon, Siren.
9. Mystery! Ruins of the Migu Migu Clan!
Kukuri and her party arrive in mysterious ruins with a mysterious connection to her past, and before heading to Endless Tower.
10. Clearing the Endless Tower!
At the top of Endless Tower, Nike, Kukuri, and Toma confront one of the Demon King's enforcers in a battle to reach Siren.
11. Apprenticeship! Copa's Forest!
Captured by a group of thieves in the kingdom of Copahl, Kukuri and her hero get wrapped up in a plot involving an evil chancellor and a magic artifact.
12. Fight! Copahl Castle!
Joined by Runrun, Juju, and Sly the thief, our heroes enter Copahl Castle in an attempt to rescue its princess and retrieve the Banana Moon, a powerful magic relic.
13. Legends! Tellum Village!
Having saved the kingdom of Copahl, Nike and Kukuri find themselves headed towards a strange land inhabited by monsters. But are they friend or foe?
14. Enigmatic! Alahabica!
Nike and Kukuri find a hint that might lead them to the next daemon, but Giri's forces are intent on sabotaging their relationship before that happens.
15. Love! In the Uncanny Lands!
With Kukuri having been turned into a demon it's up to Nike and Toma to find a way to turn her back to normal, while also tracking down the location of the daemon hidden near Alahabica.
16. Defense! The Panfos Ruins!
The hidden ruins of Panfos have appeared, but the Demon King's army is planning an assault. Can Nike and his friends defend the tower and find Kukuri, who has gone missing inside of it?
17. Beat It! Erueru Village!
Nike and Kukuri tread through a scorching desert and make their way to Erueru village, where they learn of a ritual that may help the hero unlock his next level of magic.
18. Bloom! The Land of Flowers!
On their way to the Land of Flowers, Nike and Kukuri arrive at Ettle Village, a town known for it's chocolate. After finding out that monsters are keeping the confectionery business shut down, they head into the woods in pursuit of satisfying Kukuri's sweet tooth.
19. Sing! The Tower of Batoha!
With Kukuri kidnapped by Raid and the Queen of Flowers under assault, can Nike rescue his traveling companion and protect their surrogate daughter?
20. Escape! Lef Island!
Nike and Kukuri have been on Lef Island for a while now, and while their time there is pleasant, they find themselves having a hard time moving on. Are they just enjoying the island's leisurely place, or is there something stranger going on?
21. Revived! Demon King Giri!
While Nike and Kukuri were trapped on Lef Island, the Demon King was revived! With the demonic threat looming larger than ever, they hurry to the Jitari Ruins to obtain the next tool in their quest.

An ancient secret rests within the Jitari Ruins, and the Demon King's forces have kidnapped Juju to unleash it. WIll Nike, Kukuri, and Toma arrive in time to save their friend?
