Manhunt: The Search for America's Most Gorgeous Male Model
The world of modeling is turned on its high-heels by focusing the camera on the ever-neglected world of male fashion models with the first-ever search for the hottest male model. Unsuspecting men are plucked from the streets and invited to participate in a series of challenges to determine who has the looks, style, stamina and charisma to be a male supermodel.
Seasons
1. The Hunt Begins
Thirty finalists show up at a photo shoot with Carmen Electra, but ten are immediately sent home. The top twenty head off to an airstrip, having been told nothing more than to "wear underwear." There they meet Bruce Hulse, male supermodel and Manhunt judge.
2. A Secret Revealed
If you thought jumping out of a plane in your boxers was tough, just try looking stylish and confident at a 4AM photoshoot with supermodel Marisa Miller, hip deep in a cold swimming pool. Somehow, our sixteen models make it work.
3. (Gender) Bent But Not Broken
Our dozen models try to become spokesmodels, pitching a seaweed drink in Japanese, in a commercial audition with a non-English speaking crew. "Drink Mozuku to get healthy!" they shout, or attempt to anyway.
4. Model, Sell Thyself
The ten remaining models think they're headed to an interview with a group of ad execs, when in fact it's all a put-on. The panel consists of improv actors out to make life difficult for our aspiring spokesmen.
5. Smile! You're on Manhunt Camera
Having survived a variety of challenges to make it to the top six, each model can practically taste victory. To whet their appetites a little further, we arrange a visit to the set of Access Hollywood, where they're interviewed by anchor Shaun Robinson.
6. Walkin' The Walk
After a relaxing night in Puerto Rico, our five remaining men take to the beach to shoot photos for individual swimsuit calendars. The public will determine the winner of this challenge: tomorrow, the guys will pick their runway wardrobes based upon how well their calendars sell.
7. Soap Stars and Spider Sense
Four men remain, three with hopes of winning a $100,000 modeling contract with IMG...and one, our embedded model, who hopes to push them to prove they really deserve it.
8. And Merica's Most Gorgeous Male Model Is...
On the ground in New York, the guys visit the city's top sights, and then get the royal treatment at the world famous Carnegie Deli. One giant sandwich later, they arrive at the hotel to find their wardrobe for tomorrow's shoot: three empty boxes.
