Meerkat Manor: Rise of the Dynasty
Continuing the compelling saga of the heartstring-tugging, dramatic tale of survival revolving around three families of meerkats who are descendants of the legendary meerkat matriarch, Flower. 1. New Beginnings
Swift, great grand-daughter of the late Flower, now leads the Whiskers with the help of long-term partner Brea; her thirteenth litter is due to emerge and things aren't so rosy for Flint Lockwood, the matriarch of the Hakuna Matata gang.

2. Location, Location, Location
There are unexpected outcomes for both families when an infestation at the nursery burrow forces the Whiskers to make a risky move with their youngest pups; heavily-pregnant Flint Lockwood leads Hakuna Matata in search of a new home.

3. Paradise Lost
The good fortune of the Whiskers comes to a sudden end when history repeats itself with terrifying consequences; pregnant Flint leads Hakuna Matata home only to be confronted by local land-grabbers.

4. Winter of Discontent
All three families of the dynasty are suffering a hard winter; Swift's life is threatened again only this time the enemy is within; Flint is forced to take risks to feed her family; Daisy takes on the Zulus.

5. Sister, Sister
Sencha, Munchkin and K'jess are in the line of fire as heavily pregnant Flint seeks to rid herself of threats within the family; Rover Shandy rocks up in Ubuntu's newly claimed Zulu territory, and sisters Laika and Fly are left alone at Whiskers.

Alone and at risk, evicted Sencha is clinging close to her family in the hope of a reprieve until an unexpected lifeline presents itself in the shape of rover Lilac; who brings with him the prospect of a better life.

After losing her two previous litters, Flint is expecting the arrival of her third, but the land-grabbing Ubuntu threaten to make her homeless; an unexpected return signals sinister consequences.

Sencha returns to the Hakuna Matata family but her arrival sparks concern on her intentions toward Flint's newborn.

9. Gone Girls
Girl trouble sweeps across the manor; Swift is short of babysitters, but her most senior girls, Pandi and Mercy, can't be trusted, so they will have to go; at Ubuntu, it's Daisy's daughters' dating profiles that are giving her a headache.

10. Homecomings
After seven months of drought, rain has returned to the manor, which triggers comings and goings in all the families; Swift faces a childcare crisis after having kicked out all her nannies; the native is cast out after her brief encounter with Lewie.

11. Trouble in Paradise
A sourgrass explosion causes problems for everyone while Finnick's decision jeopardizes the pups.

12. Hell and High Water
Tragedy strikes Hakuna Matata when a storm prevents the family from returning home to the pups.

13. A Turning Tide
Munchkin finds a new purpose after the loss of her pups and Swift's leadership is in question.

Meerkat Manor
Meerkat Manor is a British television programme produced by Oxford Scientific Films for Animal Planet International that premiered in September 2005 and ran for four series until its cancellation in August 2008. Blending more traditional animal documentary style footage with dramatic narration, the series told the story of the Whiskers, one of more than a dozen families of meerkats in the Kalahari Desert being studied as part of the Kalahari Meerkat Project, a long-term field study into the ecological causes and evolutionary consequences of the cooperative nature of meerkats. The original programme was narrated by Bill Nighy, with the narration redubbed by Mike Goldman for the Australian airings and Sean Astin for the American broadcasts. The fourth series, subtitled The Next Generation, saw Stockard Channing replacing Astin as the narrator in the American dubbing.
