The night Elisa’s cousins-Santiago, Flor, and Eduardo, invited her to a nightclub and after a great deal of begging her parents allowed her go. When Danna and he sister-in-law Cecilia went to pick them up, all of them started showing up except for Elisa. As the hours passed, her parent grew more and more desperate and it was then when they decided to call the police and file a missing report.

The lives of the Altamira family are changed forever. Their lives are engulfed by the events in the disappearance of Elisa, the oldest daughter of Mariano Altamira and Dana Riggs Altamira. Once she disappears, we begin to learn the secrets of every member of the family and friends; the paranoias start, histories from the past, themes that were supposed to be buried. Then the recriminations among family members start.
1. Elisa disappears
Elisa is a young woman who asks permission to go dancing with her cousins. Mariano, his father gives it to him and he takes them to the club. They agree on the reunion time to go home, everyone is there except Elisa.
2. Kidnapping, not just for money
The kidnapper, hidden behind the phone, is not just looking for money, in exchange for Elisa's life. Mariano keeps the reason for the call he received a secret. Cristóbal starts the investigations.
3. A trap for Mariano
Mariano despairs of the deception. Elisa is not in the old cellar. Cecilia tells Danna that the message she found on Elisa's computer came from Eduardo and Flor's device.
4. Identify the Kidnapper
Mariano recognizes the voice of Alberto Ventura, a former employee of his companies, accused of embezzlement. The police locate the offender and his hostage. Cornered makes a fatal decision.
5. A mass for Elisa
The entire family, including the nanny, goes to church to ask for the return of Elisa Altamira Rivas. The only one who does not attend is Santiago, after everyone knows that he had sex with her.

Amar sin límites
Amar sin límites is a Mexican telenovela that was produced by Televisa and broadcast on that company's El Canal de las Estrellas. The program debuted on 16 October 2006 at 7:30 pm; the first ten episodes were only thirty minutes long, with the program expanding to an hour long on 30 October and taking over the 7:00 time slot previously occupied by Duelo de Pasiones. After 135 episodes, the telenovela completed its run on 20 April 2007, and was subsequently replaced with Muchachitas como tú. In the United States, Amar sin límites aired on Univisión from 17 July 2007 through 18 January 2008 at 8:00 pm. This limited-run serial is a remake of the 2003 Argentine telenovela Resistiré; it is the first such remake, as a second adaptation, Watch Over Me, was created for MyNetworkTV in the United States and debuted in December 2006. Amar sin límites stars as protagonists Karyme Lozano and Valentino Lanús, whose characters, Diego and Azul, endure a tortured romance that becomes entangled in the world of organized crime thanks to Azul's fiancé, Mauricio, portrayed by René Strickler.
