More Power
Tim Allen and Richard Karn are back in the shop to continue their quest for More Power. With the help of DIY Expert April Wilkerson, they’re putting all kinds of tools to the test. The trio will tackle one tool-centric theme per episode and celebrate the coolest, most powerful and iconic examples of each tool—testing their limits in a way that only Tim can. Along the way, they’ll open the doors to Tim’s workshop and invite some of the most skilled makers from around the country to show off their creations before then heading out on field trips to play with the biggest machines that keep our world working.

Seasons

1. Power Under Pressure
Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson show what’s possible when you put power under pressure. With a little help from their friends at Bobcat, the team gets into the driver’s seat of a fleet of heavy machinery to show the power, agility, and precision possible with hydraulics. Finally, Tim challenges an expert maker to build him a pneumatic-powered mechanic’s creeper and gets more power than he can handle!

2. Blades
Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson dissect the mighty power of blades. Starting in Tim’s workshop, they show what happens when a hand gets caught in a garbage disposal, and make a home-milling machine that you can build yourself. Later, they hit the road to check out massive industrial blades, including a metal-shearing guillotine and a mega-shredder that tears up 600 cars an hour. It’s cutting edge stuff!

3. Lights and Lasers
Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson set their sights on light and lasers. In Tim's workshop, the team attempts to foil a mission impossible style security grid created by a pair of laser experts, Tim and Richard hit the road to witness industrial-strength lasers carving up slabs of steel, and April cooks an egg with a super powerful flashlight.
4. Magnets
Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson feel the attraction of magnets. In Tim's workshop, they use magnets for several helpful hacks and Tim tangles with ultra-powerful rare earth magnets. Then Richard and April head out to a scrapyard where they battle it out to see who can snag the biggest chunk of metal in a supersized crane game.
5. Fasteners
Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson explore the unexpectedly riveting world of screws, nails, and other fasteners. The team visits the country's largest utility company to see how they make supersized bolts for their giant electrical towers. In Tim's workshop, April reveals an ingenious hack for removing damaged screws and Tim has a run-in with the Jiggler.
6. Lift & Load
Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson get carried away with the tools and machines we use to lift and load. High above the Port of Los Angeles, they take turns operating a massive ship-loading crane. Back at Tim’s workshop, they experiment with a device that gives them superhuman strength and Tim gets his hands on a powerful vacuum that truly sucks.
7. Bearings
Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson have a ball with bearings, which are in almost everything that spins, swivels, rotates and rolls. Richard and Tim take a trip to a shop that bends huge pieces of steel. Back at Tim’s workshop, they push a fidget spinner to the limit and bust an internet hack involving bearings and bread.
8. Batteries
Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson get charged up over batteries in their quest for more power. Tim and April gain access to a giant hydroelectric plant where the energy stored in a nearby lake makes it the world’s largest battery. Back at Tim’s workshop, they check out an ingenious invention inspired by a memorable episode of “Home Improvement.”
9. Compressors
Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson feel the pressure with compressors, which add more power to everything from spray paint to jet engines. The team takes a trip to the country’s largest public utility facility, where they use compressors to cut huge steel beams for electrical towers. Back at Tim’s shop, they get blown away by a sawdust-blasting air shower.
10. Heat
Tim Allen, Richard Karn, and April Wilkerson get hot and bothered over the transformative power of heat. Tim and Richard visit a company that makes tempered glass in ultra-hot kilns. Back at his workshop, Tim puts a blowtorch to the test, and Richard and April learn the explosive truth about microwaves.
