1. Episode 1
In Alabama, troubled teen Marissa repeatedly talks to strangers online despite her aunt Patra's disapproval. Patra poses as a man online to chat to her, only for her niece to ask 'him' to help kill her aunt.
2. Episode 2
Liz, a doctor from Newcastle was left without any money following an elaborate scam. William Allen Jordan tricked women looking for love in the US and UK.
3. Episode 3
Kurt and his new girlfriend were contacted repeatedly on Facebook with abusive messages by a mysterious woman called Suzie. One evening Kurt was violently stabbed by two masked men and narrowly escaped with his life. The attackers were hired by Luigi Dalli, after he had plotted a contract killing on Kurt, for starting a relationship with his ex. They had agreed to kill Kurt for £500 each. Meanwhile, CBS news anchor Erika von Tiehl was terrified when she received abusive anonymous texts. The cyberstalking escalated to identity theft and murder threats. Eventually police arrested serial stalker John Hart, who Erica had dated and who became obsessed with her after she dumped him.
4. Episode 4
The extraordinary stories of women targeted online and defrauded out of hundreds of thousands of pounds, including single mum Annie, who was conned out of her £80,000 inheritance. Elsewhere, Joe and Keith Barnett were cruelly cheated out of thousands of pounds when a potential surrogate mother turned out to be a fraud, and university professor Judith was fooled into handing over £140,000 to a fictitious man she met online.
