Naked City
Naked City is a police drama series which aired from 1958 to 1963 on the ABC television network. It was inspired by the 1948 motion picture of the same name, and mimics its dramatic “semi-documentary” format. In 1997, the episode “Sweet Prince of Delancey Street” was ranked #93 on TV Guide’s “100 Greatest Episodes of All Time”.

Detective Halloran's first day as a detective brings him face-to-face with a cop killer and his accomplice who're holding hostages at the New York Coliseum..

2. Nickel Ride
The detectives visit the aging captain of the Staten Island Ferry at the same time that armed robbers are executing a daring heist of an armored car traveling on the ferry.

3. Line of Duty
Det. Halloran easily kills a fleeing robber who's about to shoot him, but Halloran's lingering feelings of guilt make getting through the aftermath with the man's family anguish. Halloran's wife and Lieutenant support him throughout his search for meaning.

4. Sidewalk Fisherman
Gio, who lives by fishing coins out of sidewalk grates, longs to adopt an orphaned boy who he spins yarns for, as if Gio actually was a courageous deep-sea fisherman. By working 16 hours a day, old Gio saves money to adopt the boy, but in doing so violates the territorial rights of a local gang, who try to kill Gio.

Ann and Harold
Ann and Harold is a very early BBC television programme, and ran for five episodes, all broadcast in 1938. It is known to be the world's first drama serial ever transmitted, and explained the trials of a couple named Ann and Harold respectively, and starred Ann Todd. Little else is known about this programme. No material exists of the show today, as it was aired live before any means of recording programmes existed. In fact, it is unknown if even any photographs survive of this programme.

The League of Gentlemen
The League of Gentlemen is a British comedy television series that premiered on BBC Two in 1999. The show is set in Royston Vasey, a fictional town in Northern England based on Bacup, Lancashire. It follows the lives of dozens of bizarre townspeople, most of whom are played by three of the show's four writers—Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton, and Reece Shearsmith—who, along with Jeremy Dyson, formed the League of Gentlemen comedy troupe in 1995. The series originally aired for three series from 1999 until 2002 followed by a film in 2005. A three-part revival mini-series was broadcast in December 2017 to celebrate the group's 20th anniversary.
