Sevgi Ersoy, a famous TV presenter whose career is on the decline, suddenly marries Fikret Alabey, one of the country's leading businessmen. This unexpected marriage shocks everyone. Both Sevgi and Fikret have had unhappy marriages in the past. They now want to live out their second chances, but it won't be easy. Their marriage means their very different families will come together. The cohabitation of these two very different families under one roof will create bigger problems than Sevgi and Fikret anticipated, changing the lives of all family members, especially their children, Taylan and Şelale, who are forced to live in adjacent rooms.

1. Episode 1
Sevgi, a presenter whose career is in decline, and Fikret, the country's leading businessman, unite their lives in a secret wedding. But now the hardest part awaits them. They share the news with their families, but no one takes this marriage well. Even though Cevale and Şelale do not want to move to Fikret's house, Sevgi says that their circumstances force them to do so. The same discussions continue in the Alabey's house, and Nurcihan and Taylan react to the idea of living together. When these two families, whose lifestyles are diametrically opposed to each other, come together, cold winds blow from the very first minute and signal that major conflicts will begin. Sevgi and Fikret go out to a dinner for their children to socialize with each other. But witnessing Taylan's lifestyle is not easy for Şelale. As the feud between the two flares up, they find themselves in a situation that is difficult to explain.
2. Episode 2
Sevgi is furious when she sees Şelale in the same bed as Taylan. Trying to make sure that her daughter has done nothing wrong, she punishes her for her irresponsibility. Şelale, who is crushed under Sevgi's anger, rebels against the situation and shouts out her mother's wrongdoings. Sevgi takes her place next to Taylan and wants to hold him to account, but when Taylan refuses to back down, the swords are drawn between the two. The events between Cevale and Nurcihan cause the ropes to get tighter, and Cevale wants to leave the house while Sevgi and Fikret try to solve the problem. As the seeds of tension between the members of the two families who have to live together sprout at full speed, a henna night is held for Sevgi at Cevale's request. As the conflicts between Taylan and Şelale continue, Taylan takes a step that will cause a huge conflict.
3. Episode 3
Simten is furious when she sees Taylan and Şelale lip to lip, while Şelale tries to explain that the situation is not what it seems. As Taylan punches Anıl for making fun of a very sensitive issue about his mother, tension suddenly rises at the wedding. Şelale blames Sevgi for something about her father. Fikret, who overhears these conversations, falls into great suspicion due to the trauma he experienced in the past. Nurcihan, who has a big trump card regarding Sevgi, puts a dangerous plan into action to take advantage of this opportunity. Realizing the situation, Cevale tries to prevent her daughter from getting into a difficult situation. While Sevgi, who suspects that there might be something between Fikret and Sumer, tries to find out the situation, Fikret, who feels a similar suspicion about Sevgi, faces a situation that exacerbates his concerns.
4. Episode 4
Şelale is shocked and saddened when Nurcihan accuses her of trying to seduce Taylan, and Cevale, outraged that her grandson is being accused of this, intervenes. While Taylan tries to explain that this is not the case, Nurcihan is disappointed when Fikret supports Şelale. Sevgi, disturbed by the issue, warns Şelale to stay away from Taylan. Although Taylan apologizes, Şelale is angry with him. Fikret's suspicions about Sevgi are not over yet. Nurcihan, who wants to disturb Sevgi's peace, brings Sümer into the picture. Şelale and Taylan take a step to save the situation in order to clear themselves in the eyes of the household. Although the conflicts between them continue, the two are drawn to each other and think of a plan to become closer. Fikret, who has problems with trust, is faced with a very difficult development.

Uti vår hage was a Norwegian sketch comedy television program which had two different runs on TV in 2003 and 2008 on the Norwegian state channel NRK. The show starred the three well-known comedians: Atle Antonsen, Harald Eia and Bård Tufte Johansen. The format of the show was one main storyline that would gradually branch off into several separate minor storylines. Two series of the show have been produced, and the second series carries the title Uti vår hage 2. The show has introduced popular characters like "Lena" from Døden på Oslo S and "Oslolosen".
