Veteran detective Tokita (Etsushi Toyokawa) and his partner Shiina (Tomoya Nakamura) are an unconventional duo assigned to an international drug-dealing investigation. Satomi (Yoshino Kimura) and Arira (Nana Seino) end up in a surprising state in the dispatch room. Meanwhile, Isayama (Goro Kishitani) and Ichijo (Amane Okayama) are criminals who have to deal with the cunning Mari (Yukino Kishii).

1. The beginning of a long night
Tension rises among investigators as information of a large-scale drug trade comes in. Veteran detective Tokita and his rookie partner Shiina sit in front of a warehouse in car number 13. Shiina begins to tease the carefree Tokita. In the dispatch room, Misato begins to size up newcomer Arira. As the investigation stalls, Isayama and Ichijo, hired on an illegal website, meet in a warehouse.

2. What you don't want to lose
At the stakeout, a bored Tokita and Shiina talk about Arira from the dispatch room. Misato discovers Arira's violent side and tries not to upset her, but accidentally reveals a big secret. At the warehouse, Isayama and Ichijo are puzzled by the abducted Mari. Ichijo tries to give something to stimulate Isayama, and Tokita realizes he has lost something. The drug deal quietly moves along.

3. Worst Dawn
Tokita loses his gun and is distraught. Shiina teaches him how to cool down emotionally. At the warehouse, Ichijo argues with Isayama about how to handle Tokita’s gun that he picked up. In the dispatch room, Arira, who learned about Misato's husband's affair, embarks on an investigation. Isayama accidentally fires the gun he was playing with, and the incident moves in an unexpected direction.

4. Unpredictable pinch
Tokita and Shiina find no one at the warehouse, but bloodstains remain. Tokita is rigorously questioned by his boss for losing his gun. Elsewhere, Isayama, Ichijo, and Mari run away with the dying Yamakura. Shiina encounters his old instructor and gets wrapped up in a bothersome issue. While Arira investigates Misato's husband's affair, Misato tries to break up with her lover.

5. There is a disorder
Tokita and Shiina return to the warehouse in search of the gun. Isayama, Ichijo, Mari, and the dying Yamakura are back for the drug deal. In the dispatch room, Misato sighs as Arira has disappeared. An awkward conversation follows with the newly arrived and bizarre Sato. Arira thinks about quitting her job. As the drug deal is approaches, a big incident occurs in the warehouse.

6. The Best Buddy
At the warehouse, the death of Yamakura leads to Isayama and Ichijo’s dispute. Mari runs away. Unaware of the situation, a depressed Tokita tells Shiina his decision to quit his job. Meanwhile, Misato and Arira get a strange phone call in the dispatch room. From there, the incident unfolds in an unexpected direction! Where's the gun Tokita lost? How will the biggest drug deal in history conclude?
