Oliver's Twist
Chef Jamie Oliver invites people to his flat, where he prepares a meal, sometimes for a special occasion, and sometimes just to share his cuisine. Each episode frequently includes footage of him shopping for a particular ingredient - and riding around London on a scooter.
Seasons
1. Singletons
Jamie shows three single women how food can help them attract a man. Recipes include risotto, grilled blue-fin tuna steak with new potato salad, and Portuguese tarts.
2. ABBA Mania
Jamie cooks for an ABBA tribute group. Included: fruit cobbler, roast pork loin, and warm squid salad with chili dressing. Also: shopping at a local farmers' market.
3. Late Night Snacks
Jamie shows two stand-up comedian pals a healthy alternative to their beer and fast-food diet. The menu includes spaghetti puttanesca, Warm Rocket salad and chocolate fridge cake.
4. More than just a Lettuce Leaf
Dom, Jamie’s friend is a magician and a vegetarian. Along with his girlfriend Sandi, his brother Tim and his wife Sandy, who are also vegetarians, Jamie shows them that being vegetarian doesn’t have to be all lentils and tofu.
5. Kitchen Builders
Jamie has known Stuart and Russell for 5 years and they're his builders who are renovating his flat. In the time they've known each other, Jamie has never cooked them a meal but he rustles them something up to say a big thank you for all their hard work. Menu includes braised lamb shanks, English trifle and chick pea & leek soup.
6. Copper's Curries
Andy, Louise, Chas and Ollie are all in the London Police Force and mad about spicy food. Jamie shows them a few tricks of the trade and rustles up some mean spicy dishes. Recipes include cellophane noodle salad, monkfish, and mango lassi.
7. Scrumptious and Sinful
There’s a myth that models don’t eat fatty foods to keep their figures in trim. This definitely isn’t the case when Jamie invites his model friends Jasmine, Vicki and Polly to dinner, as they all love to indulge in great tasting high-carb dinners. Menu includes tagliatelle with saffron, carpaccio with baby beets, and lime sorbet.
8. Fish and Chips at Home
Francesco, Sarah and Andre are American's studying at University in London. Jamie shows them how to cook some traditional British food, like Fish and Chips, Spotted Dick, and Minted Mushy Peas, to take back home.
9. Great Packed Lunches
Steven and David are bike couriers in London. They’re on the go all-day and live off bread rolls and sandwiches. Jamie shows the guys some new dishes to take on the road that don’t involve bread. Featured: calzones, meatballs, and cherry-tomato salad.
10. Big Grub for Big Boys
Mark, Alex and Fraser all play for Jamie’s favourite rugby team, The London Wasps. After a game they need some wholesome high-energy food, and Jamie cooks up a post match meal for the BIG boys. Featured: Roast Chicken with butter lemon and sage in milk, Polenta & Baby Spinach, Bread and Butter Pudding
11. Painting Party
Jamie invites pals over to ‘help' him repaint the flat, and in repayment for their hard work, he cooks them lunch. Featured: Paella.
12. Tiger
Jamie serves his granny and a group of her friends refreshments after a day of sightseeing and will treat them to an afternoon tea at his place.
13. First Date
Jamie Oliver helps his personal assistant make a big impression on her boyfriend by lending a hand in the kitchen to help her create a brilliant meal for a date.
14. Halloween
It's Halloween and Jamie is taking his friends' children trick-or-treating, but first he threats them with some pukka tukka party food.
15. Suppliers Surprise
Jamie has been a regular customer of various vendors at Borough Market for years. Jamie wants to treat them to a dinner – the main ingredient of which is whatever they supply.
16. Scarlet Division
Jamie cooks up a meal for his old band 'Scarlet Division' and finds the time to have a jam session with them.
17. The Bill
Jamie's favourite show is the hit police drama The Bill. He's managed to get onto the set while the series is being filmed, and meets some of the stars. The cast are big fans of Jamie, and are delighted to accept his invitation to dinner.
18. Bon Voyage
Jamie is putting up a farewell meal for his mate Jamie Smith who is going travelling for a year
19. Christmas
Jamie wants to host a Christmas party for his office staff, for all the hard work they have done this year, before they head home to their families.
20. Wedding
Jamie's friend Paula is getting married and everything needs organising. Jamie has offered to sort out the menu for the big day.
21. Wild City
London is a larder. Jamie and his mentor Gennaro show how even in the middle of a city, Mother Nature does provide – if you know where to look. Delicious dishes from wild ingredients, proving there is such a thing as a free lunch!
22. World Cup Breakfast
Jamie, Jimmy, Mike & Chris have been out clubbing all night, but instead of going home to bed, they are staying up to watch England play in World Cup 2002 on TV.
23. Wimbledon
Jamie's mother in law and her friends couldn't get tickets to the men's final, so they are coming round to Jamie's to watch it on TV – Jamie's providing an appropriately summery feast.
24. Friends United
Jamie's organises a school reunion for a few friends that he went to school with.
25. Chocolate
Jamie caters to the ultimate girlie night-in by creating a chocolate feast for friends babysitting his daughter – and allowing him and his wife a romantic dinner out.
26. Bollywood
Jamie hasn't seen his friend Honey for ages – she's been busy choreographing Bollywood movies! To celebrate her return, Jamie is throwing a Bollywood themed party.
