Onigiri thrusts its players into mystical Japan, a land filled with mythical creatures of Japanese legend. Starting as a lone Oni, players fight against the malevolent influence of the Kamikui as their miasma spreads over the land. 8 NPCs, each with their own distinct personality and skills, ally themselves with the player to help build a legend, and quell the evil that has arisen. As you grow stronger together, so do the bonds binding you to each other.

1. The Curtain Raises on Onigiri
While arguing over who will deliver the final blow, Shizuka Gozen and the party are attacked and dispersed. Yoshitsune and Shizuka arrive in Satsuma, where they battle a group of Kamikui. While eradicating the Kamikui, Shizuka attempts to use a secret weapon, which is detected as a defective tool, resulting in her account being suspended for a week.
2. Pandora's Box
Shizuka Gozen and Yoshitsune arrive in Chikuho, where they meet Ibaraki Douji. They end up helping a girl make a Pi-Yoko for the Kamikui hunt. Ibaraki's attempt at using a secret weapon once again results in his account being suspended for another week.
3. Burning Hakata
Suddenly, the Great God Eater, Mephisto, appears off the coast of the Genkai Sea. What plan has Amaterasu devised to prevent Mephisto from landing in Kyushu?
