Hendrik really stopped smoking this time after he saw Bossie Botha's lungs; even if it wasn't the cause of Bossie's death.

Yollie goes into labour, but Ouboet is not around. He is busy buying wing nuts for their baby's cot.

Maggie complains that Hendrik doesn't take her out anymore and he mentions options, but Maggie isn't interested until they are invited to the mine manager's ball.

Hess and Wimpie talk about Annetjie at school who might be pregnant and Maggie thinks she might be pregnant too.
5. Rusty Sit en Roes
Hendrik helps Rusty in the rain and explains to Maggie that he was only helping even though it looks very suspicious because she is in Hendrik's night gown.
6. Stink Pap en Stywe Lyne
Fortunately, Hendrik makes his smelly pap in the garage. He prepares for a fishing competition, but is unfairly disqualified.

Maggie fusses with Hendrik because he doesn't spend enough quality time with his family.

Hendrik's father accidentally signed that people may take back furniture to pay off debts.

Maggie strikes and leaves the house. Hendrik goes to get her and everyone decides to name what they will do in the house to help.

The family is very excited about Bennie coming home. Bennie mentions that he wants to go to Marion Island to work there.

Hendrik has to go for a course for work, but unfortunately it falls on Maggie's birthday and she is very unhappy about it.

The van Tonder's think Hendrik's bakkie was stolen because Hendrik thought Wimpie drove the bakkie and Wimpie thought Hendrik drove the bakkie.

Yollie goes for her driver's license and Oupa for his learner's license.

He also believes that extraterrestrials are real. Buster's parents are divorced; in this series, Buster is seen with his father, Bo Baxter.

Topacio
Topacio is a 1984 Venezuelan telenovela produced and broadcast by Radio Caracas Televisión. It is a remake of Esmeralda, a 1970s telenovela produced by rival network Venevisión, which in turn has been remade twice. Topacio was written by Benilde Avila, Milagros del Valle, Ana Mercedes Escámez, and Delia Fiallo and directed by Luis Alberto Lamata and Luis Manzo. This telenovela lasted 181 episodes and was distributed internationally by RCTV International. It was also aired in Mexico's Canal 5 at 8 p.m. in 1985 and throughout Latin America, Spain and other countries.
