Car fanatics GT and Dave set off on a road trip in search of abandoned or forgotten classic cars (as well as other memorabilia) to buy and sell for serious profit. Their journey features the spectacular scenery of the West Australian Outback, but this is no sightseeing trip – with their own money on the line, the stakes couldn’t be higher as the boys decide which cars to buy, and how much to spend. Over the series, they uncover and restore 20 classic cars from the USA, Japan, Great Britain and Europe.

1. Alfa Romeo GTV 105 & Datsun 120Y Fastback Coupe

Dave and GT follow an exciting lead about some rare Italian cars hidden away on a local farm. Plus, GT falls in love with a worn-out Japanese car.

2. Toyota Land Cruiser HJ45 & Volkswagen L-Bug Beetle

Dave and GT resurrect a farmer's 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser. Then it’s love at first sight when they find a 1975 VWL-Bug 1600 that’s had just one owner.

3. Land Rover Series 1 & Mazda Bongo Van

The guys unearth a rare 1958 Land Rover Series 1 in a shed full of junk. Then, they transform a 1972 Mazda Bongo van into a micro-home for millennials!

4. VW Kombi & Mercedes 350SL Coupe

Dave and GT spy a super-rare VW 'split-screen' Kombi Van that could be worth big money. Then, an outback barn leads to a classic Mercedes convertible.

5. Range Rover & Chrysler Imperial Crown

Dave and GT’s hunt for a 'Batmobile' mystery car reveals a 'yank-tank' 1958 Chrysler Imperial Crown. And a shabby 1989 Range Rover is returned to its former glory.

6. BMW Neue Klasse & Mini Moke

The guys revive a Bavarian beauty when they rescue a 1970 BMW ‘Neue Klasse'. A desert dash unearths two Mini Moke shells that could make a big profit.

7. Volvo P1800 & Holden Kingswood

Hidden in a shed by a farmhouse, the guys find a rare ’60s gem: a 1968 Volvo P1800 coupe. Then the hunt is on for an Aussie classic, a Holden Kingswood.

8. Ford Cortina & Nissan Patrol

The guys discover a 1977 Nissan Patrol 4WD to turn from a dusty worker into a beachside cruiser. Then they fall for a rare 1966 beauty: a MK1 Ford Cortina.

Dave and GT find a rare piece of Aussie car history - a 1964 Ford Falcon XM delivery sedan. Then, a 1978 Fiat X1/9 is revived with a patriotic paint job.
