Ling Yue is the President of New Way, an e-commerce company part of Ling Group, his family's conglomerate. Ling Yue is a smart and cold businessman as well as a strategist. Gu An Xin is a kind and hardworking manga artist who works as a delivery girl. Ling Due gets into an accident and meets An Xin who takes him back to her apartment due to his amnesia. She names him Xiao Ba and takes care of him to repay her debt.

Ling Yue tells a story to An Xin. Ling Yue's father gets suspicious regarding his son's death. An Xin's apartments gets flooded and triggers Ling Yue's trauma. An Xin helps him which causes Ling Yue to see her in a new light. An Xin helps Ling Yue to take a bath.

Ling Yue goes back to Li Group and exposes the truth behind his accident. An Xin's foster brother comes back and Ling Yue gets jealous seeing them. An Xin misses Ling Yue, and imagines him with her at different points. She receives an offer from a comic store.

An Xin goes to her foster father's birthday and meets Ling Yue. She finds out the truth about his identity and the reason why he approached her. She distances herself from him. She also meets a friend who harbours a grudge against her. Ling Yue saves her and takes her to the hospital but she escapes from there wit Ansheng. Ling Yue goes to her house but she refuses to speak to him.

An Xin's foster father is furious at her for ruining his party while Ansheng tries to calm down the situation. An Xin gets evicted from her house suddenly by her landlord. She moves in with her brother where Ling Yue visits her. Ling Yue and An Xin get into a fight. Ling Yue woos An Xin.

Ling Yue and An Xin flirt with each other. Ling Fang and Ling Yue both pursue An Xin. Ling Yue apologises to An Xin who forgives him. Ling Yue takes An Xin to his home where she is warmly welcomed. Ling Yue gives An Xin her old house back.

An Xin finds out that Ling Yue manipulated her views on the comic book online and that he is the reason she got a job at the company. She asks for a break but Ling Yue refuses to let her go. An Xin goes to Bishen Village to look for You Guo and Ling Yue follows her. On the way back, their car runs out of petrol and they stay at a hotel together. Ling Yue apologises to An Xin for interfering with her life.

Ling Yue and An Xin spend a night together. Ansheng also arrives at the hotel. Rumours fly around regarding Ling Yue and Xin Er's relationship. Ansheng and An Xin go to the sea and Ling Yue follows them. Ling Yue ends up in the hospital and explains the situation to An Xin.

An Xin joins Zhao in his start up. Ling Yue helps his brother with a problem in the company. An Xin and her colleagues celebrate her 100,000 hits with Ling Yue, Xin Er and Ling Sheng by going camping together.

She finds out that he was the one in her forgotten memories. Ling Yue and An Xin get back together. Xin Yue finds a picture of her mom with a man she said was her father.

An Xin and Ling Yue move in together and decorate the house. An Xin starts to doubt Ling Yue and Xin Er's relationship. An Xin collars with Ling Yue's company but refuses to disclose her relationship in front of his employees. An Xin distances herself from Ansheng. She and Ling Yue talk to each other and clear up their misunderstandings.

An Xin presentation receives much criticisim from Ling Yue's company employees, but An Xin is determined to make a better presentation. Ling Yue and An Xin work on keeping their relationship private. An Sheng works on taking Ling Yue down. An Xin finishes a design for Ling Yue's company which gets approved unanimously. Ling Yue and An Xin come clean about their relationship in front of everyone.

New Way faces problem due to An Sheng's announcement. An Xin goes to meet An Sheng. An Sheng and Ling Yue companies collide with each other. Ling Yue and An Xin have an argument. An Xin finds out the truth behind her paternity test and her friends disability.

Ling Yue and An Xin resolve their misunderstanding. Ling Yue makes a decision. G Group and L Group cooperate with each other. Yi Shang gets drunk.

Yi Shang confesses to Ai Li who accepts him. Yang Hong conspires with You Got and kidnap An Xin and Ling Yue. An Sheng overhears his mothers conversation and goes to save them.

Yang Hong and Ling Sheng had planned everything from the start. An Sheng, Ling Fang, Ling Yue and An Xin make a plan to capture Yang Hong and Ling Sheng red-handedly.
