Carmelo Alvarado, president of Mexico, is imprisoned for corruption and abuse of power. A woman, who has the evidence to free him, is detained.

2. Episode 2
Three women have left their mark on Mexico's most powerful man, but he loves only one: Carolina Arteaga, who will do anything to prove his innocence.

3. Episode 3
The narco Ramsés Cota returns to Mexico with one goal: to kill Carmelo. Journalist Pía Bolaños becomes a government communications adviser.

4. Episode 4
Tormented by her worst memories, Carolina thinks about telling the president a secret she has kept for years, to awaken his fighting spirit.

5. Episode 5
One of Ramsés' men, El Tuerto, attacks the president. During the fight, Carmelo recognizes the aggressor and defends himself.

6. Episode 6
The president seeks allies for his escape. His old friend Claudio takes advantage of Carolina's visit to the prison to send him an important message.

Carmelo finds a book with a message and a revealing image that may change his destiny, but he refuses the transfer proposed by his lawyer.

The route to the showers turns into a meticulous search, and Carmelo soon finds what he was looking for. A scandal is plotted from on high.

El Tuerto reveals his worst side in a vicious fight with one of Faraón's other men. Carmelo witnesses his brother's animal instinct.

Ramsés reaches the prison, and the guards agree to his demands, even telling him about Carmelo's most recent movements; Carmelo makes a key decision.

Carmelo is on his way to freedom, but the alarms go off. Madrigal orders his killing, but they convince him that he'll be a martyr in death.

12. Episode 12
Mayorga interrogates Carmelo's alleged accomplices in the escape. He executes one of them in front of Carmelo, making him feel responsible.

13. Episode 13
Carmelo meets the new warden, Piña, who tells him Benito is to replace him as president, then makes him watch an upsetting video of his daughter.

14. Episode 14
Inmates take over the prison and threaten Carmelo. Piña gives the order and blood is spilled. The secret Virginia took to the grave is discovered.

15. Episode 15
After the mutiny, Ramsés and Carmelo face off. El Tuerto must show his loyalty to the narco, even if it costs him something very valuable.

Salvador, Carolina, and Carmelo are caught up in a terrible shooting. Secrets and truths come to light. Guards and rioters fight hand-to-hand.

Carmelo's hatred for Ramsés has blinded him to the point that he asks Don Toño to get him a weapon. A funeral brings friends and enemies together.

Carmelo seizes the opportunity and attacks Ramsés. Chaos breaks out in the prison, and El Tuerto cannot put a stop to Carmelo's rage.

The Justice Department is responsible for investigating the crime in San Buenaventura. Carmelo is transferred, but doesn't know where to.

Carmelo's family fears the worst. Led by Mayorga, a group of masked, uniformed men shoots up the truck containing prisoner #1.

Carmelo arrives in Colonia, an open prison on an island, where Captain Segovia gives him a frosty welcome. Clara informs him of the dangers that lurk.

22. Episode 22
It might be Carmelo's last night enjoying all his privileges. Segovia invites him to sample Clara's delights, but she begs him not to go.

23. Episode 23
Temptation and passion overflow in the Marias Islands. Armed and emboldened by alcohol, Segovia goes after two targets. The president is punished.

24. Episode 24
Pedro Islas Cardán gets his way and celebrates the judge's ruling against Carmelo. Benito Rivas takes a drastic step. Ignacio Mayorga's fate changes.

25. Episode 25
Alone on the shore, Carmelo renounces everything and writes a note to his daughters, who are the most valuable thing to him.

26. Episode 26
Sara discovers what happened to her mother and quickly works out who her biological father is. Emotionally destroyed, she still wishes to see Carmelo.

Diana, a young journalist, is eager to interview President Alvarado, since she knows that she will get to meet a dearly beloved person that way.

Rivas calls an election and challenges Islas Cardán. In his speech he states that the election would give Carmelo a new opportunity in politics.

Unexpectedly, and after many years apart, Carmelo and Carolina spend the night together in the Marías Islands. At dawn, they face Captain Segovia.

The Alvarados and Diana arm themselves with more than just courage. Segovia makes a speech in which he releases everyone, except Carmelo.

Juanito and Pía work as a team to slowly get rid of Islas Cardán. In the run up to the election, Bautista Fernández makes a pact with the heir.

Carolina makes Carmelo promise that he will accept help. Adán and Eva identify the Maravillas airstrip that will be used to get the president out.

33. Episode 33
Before leaving the Marías Islands, Carolina and Carmelo say goodbye. He makes a proposal that she promises to consider, even if it seems crazy to her.

Everything is ready for Carmelo to leave jail. News of the plan reaches his enemies, who are determined to kill him. Emanuel discovers the informant.

35. Episode 35
The risks involved in escape are high. An official statement arrives, and the warden's decision will affect his destiny forever.

Carmelo is on his way to freedom, but he's not alone. El Gringo prepares to shoot at the president's plane and Carolina writes about the escape plan.

The Alvarado sisters flee in a truck, chased by El Gringo, who wants to blackmail Carmelo. Hortensia's departure leaves a lasting mark on the family.

Pía Bolaños had three visitors on the night of her murder. The police report is inconclusive, and Rivas demands a proper investigation to the matter.

56. Episode 56
The political war gets ruthless. It's not just about Carolina now. It's time to target President Rivas Macín and hit him where it hurts: his daughter.

57. Episode 57
Carolina Arteaga's incarceration is announced. In prison, one of the inmates mentions Carmelo. She recalls an old discussion from her wedding day.

58. Episode 58
The pressure is mounting. Rivas Macín gives up power and won't help Carolina Arteaga. Palacios, the only voice demanding justice, is quickly silenced.

In prison, Carolina gets an unexpected visit. Carmelo shoots a video that could change history. Adán reveals that the attack was ordered by Mayorga.

The attack on Lorenza has similarities with the crime involving Pía Bolaños. Diana investigates the suspect.

To stay alive, Carolina Arteaga must accept an unusual proposal. Carmelo wants to take the city together with the People's Liberation Army.
