William feels that life is over and is willing to fully enjoy whatever is left for him. He ends up divorced and winds up living at Andrés’, his best friend. Together, driving each other crazy but also supporting one another, they will have to learn to find a place in a world that is no longer made for men like them.

1. That man was very much alive
William receives a medical diagnosis that forces him to eat better, quit alcohol and do exercise. Despite everything going well in life and also that he begins working in a youth series, he is convinced that he is going to die. His paranoia and complaints grow until Juliana, his wife, teaches him a lesson.

2. Keeping it in the family
William’s arrival changes the dynamics of Andres’ and Joao’s couple life. In order to have a peaceful romantic day, Andres forces William to accept an invitation made by the young actors of the series where he works. William’s first night out will take an unexpected turn.

3. Man against man
William understands that Julia has moved on with her life and is now seeing somebody. He also sets himself the task of returning to the market and suspects that Isabel is interested. Andrés laughs at him because he thinks she is too young and good looking for him. He says she is out of his reach. For William, the topic becomes a matter of pride. A new member arrives at Andrés’ house.

4. Happy carioca
William and Isabel will have a pending and definitive conversation at Dave’s birthday party, the series’ director. Andrés and Joao get William ready for the event. To be a contemporary man will represent an acid test. Finally, the sacrifice will pay off at the party, though not in the way that William had imagined.

5. Where are the single guys? Where are the married men?
William must face the consequences of using his secret weapon of seduction on Karina. In addition to suffering from physical pain, his co-workers in the series will also discover his secret. Meanwhile, Andrés and Joao must face an awkward discussion about life as a couple after William talks too much.

6. We are no longer the same
With Joao away, Andres is devoted to neurosis and compulsive cleaning. William, worried, looks to his friends to schedule a soccer match and thus distract him. But both Andres and William know they are no longer the same and need other solutions. Andres looks to vent at the party and William, who is there console him, re-encounters Mariana.

7. Love is deaf
The situation at home has become very difficult. Andres´ spite is topped off with William’s insecurities in his relationship with Mariana. Both are looking to open up their hearts to Joao and Mariana with disastrous results. Only after William and Andres resort to a course on microchauvinism, does the picture start to clear.

8. Yes, I do
William must solve various last-minute problems before Andrés’ and Joao’s wedding, while racing against the clock. Finally, everyone looks happy at the ceremony. However, William’s happiness is not complete, because Marina seems not to have accepted the invitation with which he wanted to solve his blunder. Happy endings have small print.
