Britain's ultimate puzzler. At the start of each episode, six super smart strangers are split into two teams of three. The two teams try to accrue the most points through their powers of puzzling deduction. Every area of our player's mind will be tested across five puzzling rounds – In Other Words (language), Pressure Points (calculation), Rule Breakers (lateral thinking), Picture This (visual intelligence) and Memory Bank (memory). Then, in a dramatic plot twist, the winning team turn on each other to be named the ‘Best of the Best' and earn a place in the series Grand Final where the ultimate puzzler will be crowned.

1. Episode 1

In the first episode of the series, contestants from London, Worcester, Barry, Derby and West Kilbride take on five rounds of fiendish puzzles.

2. Episode 2

Brand-new quiz show presented by Lucy Worsley. Contestants from Guildford, Bristol, Somerset, Ormskirk, London and Dingwall take on five rounds of fiendish puzzles.

3. Episode 3

Lucy Worsley presents the new quiz show. Contestants from Derby, Gloucestershire, Croydon, Swadlincote, South Wales and Warwick take on five rounds of fiendish puzzles.

4. Episode 4

Lucy Worsley presents the new quiz show. Contestants from Rochdale, Wirral, Bath, Dumferline, Edinburgh and Liverpool take on five rounds of fiendish puzzles.

5. Episode 5

Six contestants from Worcester, London, Rotherham and Kent take on five rounds of fiendish puzzles testing language skills, calculation, lateral thinking, visual intelligence and memory.

6. Episode 6

Contestants from Portsmouth, Essex, Manchester, London and Derbyshire take on five rounds of fiendish puzzles as they attempt to qualify for the series Grand Final.

7. Episode 7

Contestants from Birmingham, Blackburn, London, Manchester and Croydon take on five rounds of fiendish puzzles as they attempt to qualify for the series Grand Final.

8. Episode 8

Contestants from Edinburgh, Coulsdon, Poole, Tenbury Wells, London and Sheffield take on five rounds of fiendish puzzles in a bid to qualify for the series Grand Final.

9. Episode 9

Contestants from Bristol, London, Bromborough, Aberdeen, Fordingbridge and Croydon take on five rounds of fiendish puzzles as they attempt to qualify for the series Grand Final.

10. Episode 10

Contestants from Thetford, Oxford, Powys, Staffordshire, Nottingham and Porth take on five rounds of fiendish puzzles as they attempt to qualify for the series Grand Final.

11. Episode 11

In the final round before the semi-final, Lucy Worsley puts players from Leeds, Pontypool, Norfolk, Belfast, Derbyshire and London through their paces in five demanding rounds of puzzles.

12. The Play-Off

Six contestants from around the UK have made it to the play-off to take on five rounds of fiendish puzzles as they attempt to qualify for the Grand Final.

13. The Final

It's the Grand Final and our contestants take on five rounds of fiendish puzzles as they attempt to become the Ultimate Puzzler.
