Real Humans
Set in a parallel universe, Real Humans imagines a world where robots have become so human that they're barely distinguishable from real humans and follows the resulting emotional effects on two families as well as the trials of a group of robots who have attained free will and want their freedom from human ownership.

1. Break In, Break Loose
A new generation of human-like robots -- "hubots" -- provide all manner of services to the human race. But some of these hubots, known as the "Children of David," free themselves from the control of their masters. Kidnapped by traffickers and separated from other rebel hubots, the hubot Mimi is sold on the black market. Another Child of David, Leo, leaves the protection of the group and goes in search of her.

2. Trust No One
A double murder is discovered in the old house where the rogue hubots charged their batteries and the police take up the hunt for the perpetrators. Inger has trouble accepting Anita, while at the same time money starts disappearing around the house. Roger's hatred of all hubots grows, especially the one his ex-wife lives with.

3. The Lord Shall Be Our Companion
The rogue hubots take refuge in an old church, where the pastor offers them sanctuary in the vicarage, believing that hubots would never harm humans. Granddad Lennart has trouble accepting his new housekeeper and takes every chance he can get to get away from her and enjoy the freedom he once had with Odi.

4. Semi-Human Rights
Therese and Pilar feel humiliated when their hubot boyfriends aren't treated as humans. At the same time, Roger's anti-hubot group begins plotting violence. But why is Bea acting so strangely? And how does she know Niska?

5. Power at Heart
Malte, Bea and Roger pledge their allegiance to the 'Real Humans Liberation Front' and begin setting their plans for a hubot-free world in action. The search for Mimi leads Leo to the hubot black market and into the hands of hubot hunter Silas. At the vicarage, Eva's fears about their guests in the attic escalate.

6. Sly Leo
Leo is weak, but does everything he can to get to Mimi's house, where Matilda is beginning to uncover the truth about Anita. When Bea arrives at Roger's job with a black eye, she cajoles him into taking her in. Lennart is offered the chance to make a hubot copy of himself. But does he want to?

7. Blind Love
Tobias witnesses an assault and decides to take the law into his own hands. After some bad news, Roger loses his cool at work, but at the same time he is enjoying his new home life with Bea. Granddad Lennart feels alive again in his blossoming romance with the all-too-sunny Solveig.

8. Make Haste
Rick and Bo are insulted when the ladies switch them off for a girls' night out. They begin throwing their weight about and decide to get revenge. When Inger questions Leo, he lets her know that time is running out. Meanwhile, at Roger's house, Bea begins to develop feelings and soon has a revelation for Roger.

9. Heritage
The truth about David Eischer's experiments leaks out to the police, and Inger Engman suddenly understands the link to Anita. Kevin gets tired of Rick's bullying and returns to a home and a stepfather he doesn’t recognise. And after a successful flight attempt, Leo finds his beloved Mimi.

10. The Code
In the final episode, everyone wants the code, which in the wrong hands could spell disaster for humankind. Leo is very weak, but continues to flee with Mimi in the underground passages of the metro. Bea and Carl are both after them, both trying to reach them first. At the same time, Tobias has a strange gift in his room.

The series is set in New Gotham City, several years after it has been apparently abandoned by Batman. No two metahumans have the same abilities (unless hereditary), and there exists a whole subculture of metahuman society that the outside world knows nothing about.

Little Dorrit
