Seasons

1. LUX
Esther cannot reach her husband after a great loss. She decides to look for him. Evi is assigned a murder case, which is linked to the suspected human trafficking couple Sylvia and Ingmar. Sylvia is offered a deal to testify against Ingmar, but declines. In the evening she receives one of her regular customers: Eric. Due to a misunderstanding, things get out of hand and Eric flees.

2. Maman
Esther reports Eric's missing. She finds out that Eric is cheating on her from photos of him and a woman with a specific tattoo, which she finds on her father's computer. Evi gets drunk at her twins' party and this leads to a big confrontation with Gust. Ingmar brings Imana to Amsterdam, where he has a fight with his rival Elarbi. Sylvia finds out that she is pregnant.

3. "E"
Sylvia lies that she had an abortion. She is confronted by the police with a photo of Ingmar, Petra and their child. Imana is brought back mutilated by Elarbi and wants to escape. Ingmar plots revenge on Elarbi. Evi goes to stay with Sam because Gust has kicked her out of the house. Esther finds out that the family business is almost bankrupt and Veronqiue is not the woman with the tattoo from Eric's photos. Everything becomes too much for her during a performance.

4. Kashmir
The body in the Scheldt turns out to be Eric's. Esther turns out not to be pregnant and is told not to use Eric's seed now that he is dead. Veronique confesses that she saw Eric at Tropicana and Evi and Sam are going to investigate further. They inform Esther about his visit to the club. Sylvia makes an appointment with the police. Esther decides to go to Tropicana herself. She finds herself in a dire situation and when she runs off, she recognizes Sylvia by her tattoo.

5. Tropicana
Esther is questioned by Evi and Sam about Eric's death. Esther insists she has nothing to do with it. Then she contacts Sylvia, who does not want to hear about it. Sylvia has enough on her mind betraying Ingmar. Together with the police, she makes a plan how they can catch Ingmar in the act. Evi and Gust seem to get closer to each other and for a moment they seem like a real family again, but Evi can't handle it anyway.

6. Dearest Mother
Esther tries in vain to contact Sylvia again and gives her a business card. Evi and Sam question Sylvia again. Sylvia complains about Esther harassing her. Evi follows Veronique, they arrive at Eric's funeral. Sam finds out that Veronique has an alibi. The police action is ready to begin when Sylvia warns Ingmar at the last minute and flees. Esther is shocked by an unexpected visit.

7. Peacock Eye
Esther does not know what to do with Sylvia and gives her money for a hotel. Esther becomes intimate with Jeroen when she confides in him. Evi is honest with Gust that she doesn't want to be a mother, which Gust doesn't understand at all. The research now focuses on Ingmar and Sylvia and Evi works together with Anna and Kamiel. Ingmar finds out about Sylvia's whereabouts and flees back to Esther. Sylvia makes Esther a very strange proposal ...

8. Our House
Evi and Sam help the human trafficking department with a large-scale raid on the bungalow park of Ingmar. Evi concludes that Sylvia is now the main suspect in Eric's case. Evi informs Esther and Esther confronts Sylvia. Sylvia does not understand and tells Esther what she thinks happened on that night. She tries to convince Esther to buy the baby. Evi suspects that Sylvia is with Esther and decides to observe them. Ingmar has apparently also received this information.

9. Bloodline
Sylvia and Esther flee together to the hunting lodge of Esther's family. While Evi follows the women, Gust informs her that he wants to officially divorce. Esther receives shocking news about Eric, damaging their relationship of trust with Sylvia. It leads to a showdown between her and Sylvia. Evi can intervene just in time. They are in a hurry, because Ingmar is on their heels and he wants Sylvia back.

10. Awake
A confrontation ensues between Ingmar and the women. It finally becomes clear who is responsible for Eric's death. Esther and Sylvia struggle to flee, while Evi goes after Ingmar and his henchmen. Esther and Sylvia go to Spain, where Eric is said to have a house where Sylvia is safe. Meanwhile, Evi is faced with betrayal from someone close to her.
