Culture-loving Rob Rinder joins architecture fan Rylan as they follow in the footsteps of 19th century romantic poet Lord Byron and other Grand Tourists, immersing themselves in the art, culture, bad behaviour and life-changing exploits of historic Brits abroad.

In Florence, Rob and Rylan get up close and personal with Michelangelo’s David, sample the offal food Grand Tourists ate, and discover a pioneering female Renaissance artist.
3. Rome
In Rome, Rob and Rylan turn themselves into a painting by Caravaggio, try to get the Grand Tourist look, and discover the shocking story of the singers known as 'castrati'.
