Based on the original cartoons, the show revolves around the professional and private adventures of three bachelor nurses in a Dutch hospital. Fatima is pretty, but pretentious, picky and insecure, even about having dumped perfect fiancé Jeroen. Nienke is fat and blunt, but optimistic. Stella is a ruthless man-eater. Their matron Wilma, gentleman-MD Jurriaan and gay nurse Thomas all find the trio quite a handful.

1. Afscheid
On the way to the birthday of her grandmother the boyfriend of Fatima breaks up with her. She has difficulties to let him, and her dream of a knight in shining armor, go. Nienke is busy organising a goodbye party for Doctor Schoonoord, which means a lot to her. Stella has her own problems, her lucky necklace breaks. She's afraid she will have bad luck forever, mostly when it comes to men and sex.
2. Arm en rijk
When Nienke has her period, the entire world shall know. On her way to the hospital she has an argument with a mother who is dropping of her child at school. Fatima tries to help her to bury the hatchet but this doesn't go as planned. Jurriaan and Stella can't get along. When a patient arrives that 'by accident' sat on something they have to put him out of his misery together.
3. Hartklachten
Stella has a date with a guy that has heartproblems. She has troubles with following her own heart. Fatima keeps saying she is over her ex- Jeroen, but she puts in quite an efford to be around him. Nienke is buying a dress that is too small to annoy the sales person.
4. Jeugdliefde
Nienke meets the brother of a childhood friend who she use to have a big crush on. Stella faces the reality that she is older then she wants to be and takes precautions. Fatima has a grandma-day which doesn't go as planned.
5. Beslissingen
Fatima and her mother make arrangements for the funeral of her grandmother, but they both have their own ideas about how. Stella has to do an work evaluation and is offended by it on forehand. Nienke makes Barry take a drastical decision about his relationship.
6. Helderziend
Stella gets confronted with the wife of one of her man toys and is'tn pleased with it. Fatima thinks of buying the house of her grandmother and calls in the help of a psychic. During the session the psychic gives some unwanted advice to Stella and Nienke.
7. Squashen
Stella challenges Jurriaan for a game of squast to decide who of the two is a real man. Fatima spends her first night alone in the house of her grandmother and isn't looking forward to it. She is trying to find an alternative. Nienke planned a nice evening for herself.
8. Verwenweekend
Stella and Nienke visit the farm of Fatima's grandmother to attend a 'spoil-weekend' planned by Fatima. The weekend doesn't go as planned cause Fatima invited some other people as a surprise. Nienke and Stella aren't pleased with this.
9. Familiebezoek
Stella her brother visits and it appears so that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Nienke is in charge over the nurses for a day, a task she takes very seriously. Fatima circumstantially discovers the ring of her grandmother at a jewelry store and does everything in her power to get it.
10. Studenten
Stella her father comes for a visit but he doesn't know Sep is in the hospital. Stella tries to keep it from him. Nienke invites Barry and Jolien for dinner at her place in order to get to know Jolien. Fatima hits the mirror of an expensive car and breaks it. She tries to convince him of her good intentions.
11. Vrijgezellenfeest
Nienke helps the hysterical Louise with the planning of Jolien her bachelor party. Stella tries to get her father off of her houseboat. Fatima has spent the night at Jan Frederik his place and can't remember if she slept with him.
12. De bruiloft
Fatima is over the moon with Jan Frederik, but can't get Jeroen out of her head. Hours before the wedding Barry gets doubts about marrying Jolien. Behind Stella her back Sep invites Jurriaan for dinner. As revenge Stella invites Jurriaans brother to the dinner.
