Sattamum Needhiyum

Sundaramoorthy, an intelligent but timid lawyer, files a PIL to provide justice for Kuppusamy, who sets himself on fire in the court premises. He teams up with Aruna, a rebellious junior lawyer.

Sundaramoorthy investigates the case of Vennila, Kuppusamy's daughter, who was abducted. However, his trip with Aruna to police stations turns a dead end.

Sundaramoorthy and Aruna are shocked to discover that Kuppusamy has been a mental patient for years. They convert his case from a PIL to a Habeas Corpus petition, with Vishwanath as the prosecutor.
