A promise to his mother led him to become the best musical and movie star of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema; his songs and characters went around the world, and when he seemed to have everything, death tragically took him away.
1. A Promise to My Mother
On board an old plane, Pedro Infante and Captain Vidal fight with the controls, as they are going into a tailspin. Pedro's anguished look takes us to the previous day. Pedro agrees with María Luisa to end the bigamy lawsuit.
2. A Light in My Life
Culiacán 1937, Pedro entertains a party, María Luisa and María Izaguirre, do not take their eyes off him. Pedro invites María Luisa to dance, without suspecting that with her he will experience the happiest moments of her life, but also her greatest disappointments.
3. Disillusionment
Thanks to the radio, Maria Luisa discovers that women are crazy about Pedro and guides him to success. Pedro becomes more confident, while Maria Luisa is unable to give Pedro what he most desires.
4. An Inevitable New Love
Pedro decides not to return to María Luisa. At the Follies Theater, where Pedro works, a new star shines, it is Lupita Torrentera, who immediately notices him. But María Luisa is willing to do anything to not lose him.
5. The Death of My Daughter
Caracas, Venezuela 1949, Pedro leaves a concert and drunk with success, he gets involved with two fans, suddenly he receives a call that will change his life forever. Pedro orders Matouk to return to Mexico as soon as possible, but they cannot leave the country.
6. Fly on the Wings of Success
Pedro arrives drunk and is about to surprise Lupita with another man. Three years ago, from the rubble of a plane crash, Pedro pulls Lupita out and takes her to a hospital. The doctors discover that Pedro has a skull fracture.
7. Touch the Sky Even If You Burn
Pedro finds a new love, but she resists since Infante is still married to María Luisa. Matouk gives Pedro a false document with which she can get married, but things do not go as expected.
8. A Tragic Goodbye
Pedro's problems accumulate, Captain Martínez tries to warn Pedro about mismanagement at TAMSA, but Infante is so busy that he does not pay much attention. In one of the TAMSA hangars, Pedro discovers boxes with illegal cargo.
