Three friends, Min Ji, Dae Yeong, and Jeong Ha, reunite after a long time. During a night of drinking, the past kiss between Dae Yeong and Jeong Ha is revealed, creating a strange tension. Dae Yeong gathers his courage and confesses his long-held feelings to Jeong Ha, but Jeong Ha rejects him. Afterwards, Min Ji confesses her feelings to Dae Yeong, and the relationships among the three begin to take an unpredictable turn.

At a café, Jeong Ha is shocked to hear that Dae Yeong and Min Ji are dating but still congratulates them. Min Ji, despite knowing that Dae Yeong does not have feelings for her, continues their relationship. At Dae Yeong's home, Min Ji tries to get closer to him, but Dae Yeong finds himself thinking of Jeong Ha and distances himself from Min Ji.

Jeong Ha goes to see Dae Yeong to resolve the tangled situation. The subtle tension between them eventually leads to Dae Yeong's outburst, and he demands sincerity from Jeong Ha before kissing him.

Min Ji feels betrayed after realizing that Jeong Ha and Dae Yeong were together the previous night. Dae Yeong doesn’t hide it and tells her the truth. Upon confirming their relationship, Min Ji leaves in anger and despair. Jeong Ha is tormented by guilt, and as Dae Yeong watches him, he kisses him tenderly, filled with affection.

Dae Yeong is startled when his ex-boyfriend, Do Jin, shows up at his workplace. Using a project briefing as an excuse, Do Jin meets Dae Yeong and brings up their past, shaking him emotionally. Eventually, Do Jin kisses Dae Yeong. Though confused, Dae Yeong pushes Do Jin away with a conflicted look, but Do Jin remains unfazed.

Do Jin shows interest in Jeong Ha's writing. Dae Yeong, wary of Do Jin, warns Jeong Ha not to meet him, but Jeong Ha feels disappointed by Dae Yeong’s lack of understanding of his work. When Dae Yeong goes to pick up a drunken Jeong Ha, he encounters Do Jin, who openly expresses his feelings for him. Do Jin kisses Dae Yeong, unaware that Jeong Ha witnesses the scene.

Jeong Ha witnesses the kiss between Dae Yeong and Do Jin and, furious, tells Dae Yeong that their relationship is over. Jeong Ha struggles after receiving an offer from Do Jin for a publishing contract meeting. Meanwhile, Do Jin meets Dae Yeong and asks him to end things with Jeong Ha. Dae Yeong, tormented by the memory of being abandoned by Do Jin in the past, tells him never to see him again.

Jeong Ha is devastated when he sees a post in the writer's community exposing his relationship with CEO Do Jin. He tries to contact him but fails, and Jeong Ha goes to find Dae Yeong. Furious over the outing of Jeong Ha, Dae Yeong pressures Do Jin and resolves the situation to protect Jeong Ha. Having confirmed their true feelings for each other, the two cautiously kiss and begin their relationship.
