Sin Cities

2000

Sin Cities is a British sexually-oriented travel television series with Grub Smith for season one and Ashley Hames for seasons two through four. It originally broadcast on Bravo from 2000 to 2007. It has also been broadcast on Showcase in Canada. Series 1 and 2 were produced by Visual Voodoo while Series 3 and 4 were produced by Class Films. Smith and Hames co-hosted a spin-off series entitled Sin Cities Unleashed which consisted of edited highlights from the first two series of Sin Cities. The premise of the series sees the host traveling to cities around the world and exploring sexual entertainment options, occasionally even participating. The tone of the series is irreverent and humorous, with a tendency to focus on some of the more bizarre options available, such as wearing nappies and being captured for sexual pleasure.

1. Bangkok

He arrives in Bangkok, where he grapples with a top transexual kickboxer, attends a ladyboy beauty contest, and searches for the perfect Thai massage.

In Barcelona, he checks out the nightlife, attending the city's unique slave school and visiting the world's largest adult entertainment company.

3. Berlin

He travels to Berlin, where he invesitgates the city's underground culture, visiting the most decadent clubs and performing with two of the city's top drag artists.

4. Copenhagen

He travels to Copenhagen where he meets an erotic photographer, takes part in a Gonzo film and discovers how the new bridge between Denmark and Sweden has spiced up Sweden's nightlife.

5. Hong Kong

In this edition he journeys to Hong Kong, where he cooks a meal at the city's famed penis restaurant, meets a nude pianist and drives around the Club Bebos.

6. Indonesia

He arrives in Indonesia, where he attends a mountain-top love festival, visits a foam party and goes surfing with some Balinese gigolos.

7. Las Vegas

He journeys to Las Vegas, where he finds out exactly why the city is becoming the party capital of the US, learns how to pole dance and visits the most famous bordello in America

8. Los Angeles

In this edition he journeys to Los Angeles, where he co-stars in an adult movie, takes a limo ride with adult-film star Ron Jeremy and meets a man who takes beatings for a living.

9. Miami

He explores Miami, where he learns how to film an adult movie underwater and gets sold into slavery at an S and M charity auction.

10. New York

In New York he gets involved in a sexy army re-enactment with New York's Village Fantasies company, and meets ex-pat film director Neville Chambers, who makes videos of couples having sex in Manhattan taxi cabs.

11. Rome

In this edition, he travels to Rome, taking a trip to the biggest swingers' club in Europe, attending auditions for a male strip group, and staging an erotic road test with some sexy young Italians.

12. Round the World

In this edition, he tries his hand at male stripping in Miami, discovers how to recruit Playboy centrefolds in Las Vegas, and meets Russia's first web-cam girl.

13. Russia

In this edition, he travels to Russia, checking out the outrageous Hungry Dick club in Moscow, getting a birch tree massage in a sauna, and visiting a nude hairdresser's in St Petersburg.

14. San Francisco

In San Francisco, two drag queens give him a guided tour of the city's clubs, where he meets the star of the 'Bend over Boyfriend' films, and he discovers exactly what precision kicking involves.

15. Singapore

He journeys to Singapore, where he meets the city's renowned 'love detective', explores the country's strange sex laws and takes a tour of the hotspots.

16. Tokyo

In this edition he journeys to Tokyo, where he takes a tour of the city's adult TV channel, checks out the schoolgirl-fetish scene and gets an examination from a naughty nurse.
