1. Dream
Mexican star Andrés arrives in Spain to help the once great Betis football club. Midfielder Saúl is on the brink of stardom in Atlético, while Berizzo brings a human touch to managing the squad in Seville. Iñaki lends his speed to the Basque-only club, Bilbao, while Sports Director Quique hopes for a win for newcomer Girona. In tiny but fierce Eibar, president Amaia keeps her calm over setbacks.
2. Feet On The Ground
Support floods in for Berizzo amidst his shocking news, while Amaia keeps en eye on the future as her team starts to succeed. Risk of injury lurks as Andrés starts. Saúl learns from his hero Fernando Torres, while Iñaki’s mother helps him though a bad run. Seville lurches from disaster to euphoria and back again. Quique suffers when Girona visits Eibar. In Sevilla, the crisis claims a victim.
3. Family
The Derby between arch rivals Betis and Seville has never been more intense. Amidst rising hopes, Quique strategizes with his coach. Saul grows into his role. Iñaki performs at a critical time, and cements his future. Andrés keeps faith as injury concerns grow. Amaia welcomes a new player to the family. Last minute negotiations become emotional turning points as the contracts are signed.
4. Losing Well
Iñaki and the team navigate through hopes and fears in the European League. The Mexican national coach visits Andrés to discuss the World Cup. Amaia keeps her cool during a frustrating match against Barcelona. Saul’s hopes for Champions League suffers when Messi tips the scales. Quique’s team faces a difficult challenge on the pitch. Violent Russian fans cause a tragedy in Bilbao.
5. Offers You Can't Refuse
Quique is in tough negotiations with his friend, Girona’s successful coach. Will friendship outweigh business? Saul’s perfectionist streak goes on display. Amaia hosts the European champions with surprising results. Betis are on the verge of one of their best season in years, but Bilbao, one of their worst. The mystery over the Japanese star is resolved.
6. To Say Goodbye
Andrés manages injury risk with his coach, while keeping focus on the World Cup. After another miracle season, Amaia has one last hurdle to secure Eibar’s future. Saul pays homage to his hero, as Atlético celebrates in Europe. Iñaki wins the admiration of one of his heroes. Emotions run high as some people stay, and some move on. Surprises in Seville and Bilbao bring the story full circle.
