Eight Swedish artists, representing different genres and generations, compete against each other each week by performing hit songs from eight different musical genres. Each week, the audience votes on their favorite contestants. Only one artist can be voted the Star of the Stars!

Artists Ace Wilder, Casper Janebrink, LaGaylia Frazier, Linda Pira, Ola Salo, Roger Pontare, Tommy Nilsson and Wiktoria compete against each other by performing hit songs from eight different musical genres until the audience chooses one winner among them.

1. Episode 1 - Country

Season premiere. The eight artist compete in country music. We hear cover versions by songs from First Aig Kit, Dolly Parton and Alan Jackson among others.

2. Episode 2 - Latin

The eight artists compete in latin music. We hear cover versions of songs by artists such as Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez.

3. Episode 3 - Hard rock

The seven remaining artists compete in hard rock.

4. Episode 4 - Soul

The six remaining artists compete in soul.

5. Episode 5 - Opera

The five remaining artists compete in opera.

6. Episode 6 - Synth pop & musical

The four remaining artist compete in two musical genres: synth pop and musical.

7. Episode 7 - Disco & visa

The three remaining artists compete in two musical genres: disco and traditional Swedish visa.

8. Episode 8 - Final

Season finale. The remaining two artist compete in three musical genres: one chosen by the jury, each others' breakthrough singles and one chosen song of their own.
