Shogo Kai is a lawyer at one of the big 4 law firms in Japan. He is good at his job, but he is arrogant. Shogo Kai only thinks about winning and he thinks the only way to satisfy his clients is to win. He is getting close to becoming a senior partner at the law firm. Shogo Kai's boss worries about his focus on winning above all else. As a condition of his promotion at the law firm, his boss asks him to hire a young lawyer as an associate. Shogo Kai interviews prospective young lawyers and meets Daiki Suzuki. Daiki Suzuki has high intelligence and his memory ability is amazing.

A prodigy who has been languishing at the bottom because of unfortunate circumstances grabs hold of a chance at a new start in life.

2. Episode 2
Daisuke makes a decision to live as a lawyer as he struggles with his first case. Kai sees Daisuke’s “emotional dependence” and makes Daisuke resolve to let go of his past.

3. Episode 3
Daisuke is disgruntled because Kai treats him like a child, and ends up being tricked by Kanie, succeeds in getting his first client, and starts to earn Kai’s trust.

4. Episode 4
Chika’s ex-husband files a lawsuit, a case that shows a glimpse of Chika’s weakness. In this episode, Kai saves Chika, and a love triangle with Daisuke, Makoto and Sari starts in earnest.

5. Episode 5
Yusei gets arrested. Daisuke is swayed by seeing Yusei again. In this episode, Kai helps Daisuke settle his past with Yusei.

6. Episode 6
Kai and Kanie go head-to-head. Meanwhile, Daisuke’s resume fraud is almost exposed, but he gets a fake resume from a hacker.

7. Episode 7
A formidable lawyer who has never lost a case faces off against Kai.

8. Episode 8
Daisuke goes all out as the lawyer for a man who is also faking his background.

9. Episode 9
Chika finds out about Daisuke’s resume fraud. She demands an explanation from Kai, but he has no time for that after finding out that his former teacher has engaged in misconduct.

10. Episode 10
Kai takes action to protect a person who was falsely convicted and imprisoned because of Kai.
