In 2024, when Gu Xue Jiao, a graduate from a non-prestigious university, fails to land a high-level position, she confronts CEO Lin Zhi Hua. The two get into a heated argument as the lift suddenly plummets. When she wakes up, her life has restarted, and she is back at 18.

Gu Xuejiao goes to Yi Tianyu's place to uncover the truth of the accident. She tries to collect evidence from Yi Tianyu's phone but is caught red-handed. Yi Tianyu prevents her from leaving.

With the accident briefing fast approaching, Lin Zhihua convinces Si Qi at the last minute to testify against Yi Tianyu. This ordeal strengthens Gu Xuejiao and Lin Zhihua's relationship. Lin Zhihua surprises her with a marriage proposal.
