Terrace House: Boys × Girls Next Door
Terrace House: Boys × Girls Next Door was a Japanese reality television series in the Terrace House franchise. It originally aired on Fuji Television's "Cool TV" segment from October 12, 2012 to September 29, 2014 for eight seasons, after which a standalone movie was released as a continuation/conclusion of the show. The show took place in a modernistic house with a terrace located in the Shōnan area.
Seasons
Six complete strangers live together in a beautiful house overlooking the ocean -- where friendship, love, jealousy and drama unfold.

1. Moving to the Terrace House
Evil genius YOU is driving around Tokyo in her sponsored TOYOTA car, plotting her latest evil plan: Put six strangers in a big house by the sea and let the drama unfold. It’s a social experiment to find out if Japanese people are capable of forming relationships and/or get laid.

2. The Beginning of Something New Or...
The housemates bond by cooking together at their new home. Some of their problems come to light. The boys talk about which of the girls they like.

3. Nobody Knows the Way She Feels
Tetsuya starts to act on his feelings for AKB48’s Rie Kitahara, and the two of them go shopping together. Masato invites Seina to exercise with him.

4. Thank You for Being Here
While watching the previous episode of the show, the housemates suddenly discover that Momoko’s parents are both deceased.

5. It's Never Too Late to Start
Tetsuya reveals the results of the firefighter exam. The housemates talk about their careers and dreams. Masato prepares for a surfing contest.

6. Puppy Love
Tetsuya tells Seina that he can’t just tell Kitahara that he likes her, because there is too much for her to lose. Masato’s competition day arrives.

7. The One She Truly Longs For...?
After finding out that Kitahara isn't really interested in Tetsuya, Momoko asks the pop star what kind of guy she likes.

8. Disharmony in the Terrace House
Masato and Seina talk in the morning after kissing the night before. Tetsuya finds out that Masato asked Kitahara out on a date.

9. Playtime Is Over
Momoko and Tetsuya talk about relationships over food. Masato takes Seina out to dinner to tell her something important.

10. The Decisions
Masato looks to sharpen his surfing skills. Kitahara talks to Yuko Oshima and other AKB48 members about balancing work with her life at Terrace House.

11. Getting Back Up Again
Tetsuya talks to someone from his past about his dream of becoming an actor. Seina does a test photo shoot during another audition for a magazine.

12. Moving Out of the Terrace House
Kitahara and Tetsuya go on their final date before they part ways. The boys find a touching letter after they say goodbye to Masato.
13. Special Edition
Evil villain YOU is watching her experiment from the control room. So far everything is going as expected. Japanese people are terrible at getting laid and find it very difficult to even hold hands. This is a special episode focusing on the most interesting subject, Tecchan. He gets to meet Taylor Swift, then YOU does a recap of what the hell Tecchan as been up to for the past 12 weeks.
