The Blossoming Love
In ancient times, the Human Emperor, Zhao Ming, petitioned on behalf of the people and sacrificed himself to resist the divine realm. After Zhao Ming's fall, his beloved, Hun Dunzhu, risked her life to save a wisp of his soul, setting up the cycle of reincarnation for eternity. In the distant future, Zhao Ming reincarnated as Xie Xuechen, the leader of the Immortal Alliance, while Hun Dunzhu became the Holy Maiden Mu Xuanling in the Dark Domain. The two finally reunited in the mortal realm but had forgotten their past, becoming adversaries in a "righteous versus evil" struggle. Mu Xuanling saved the heavily injured Xie Xuechen in the Dark Domain and coerced him to travel together in gratitude for saving his life.

Nan Xu Yue forces a marriage with Mu Xuan Ling. During the ceremony, she transforms the Chaos Power into a blade and stabs it into Nan Xu Yue's chest. He does not evade and expresses his willingness to let Mu Xuan Ling vent her anger.

The Divine Providence grants Zhu the Qiankun Bead. Zhu decides to activate it, transferring any future harm that might befall Zhao Ming onto herself.

Mu Xuan Ling rushes to Zhengqi Court to stop the Demon King. She exchanges her Chaos Power for the safety of all mortals.
37. Risking Her Life to Save His
Chi Ying transforms Dark Wood Seal into a sharp blade as instructed by Nan Xu Yue. He then shoots it at Demon King's heart. At the moment of great danger, Mu Xuan Ling takes the stab for Demon King.

Qian Guang persuades Fengxiang to give up immortality. He asks her along to see the world and the people.
