Complete first series of the BBC television comedy sketch show, featuring the award-winning comedian. Catherine Tate plays a variety of instantly recognisable characters, from an obnoxious Hollywood actress, to a harrassed housewife on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

1. Episode 1
Lauren is "not bovvered" when she mistakes the street phrase 'bling bling' for 'bing bing' while talking to her boyfriend Ryan about Beyonce. Margaret gets a nasty fright from her breakfast cereal, and later from her toaster.

2. Episode 2
Meet Elaine Figgis, a 34-year-old baker's assistant from York, whose fiance is Jeremiah Wainwright III, a cannibalistic multiple murderer from Texas on Death Row, and Paul and Sam, the endearingly thick Essex couple.

3. Episode 3
Lauren is not "bovvered" when the train conductor tells her it's the last stop and she has to get off. The posh Aga Saga Woman panics when she almost runs out of extra virgin olive oil. Elaine flies to Texas to get married.

4. Episode 4
Paul and Sam have a 'hilarious' conversation about a friend who has gone on holiday. New parents Ben and Karen have a row when Karen's lack of map-reading skills get them lost. Carole is nasty about street entertainers.

5. Episode 5
Sandra Graham has managed to successfully combine her high-powered job in the City with her love of the childrens' playground game, Last Hit. Aga Saga Woman Helen is devastated when her husband fails to find Brie in France.

6. Episode 6
Nasty office worker Catherine challenges Diane to guess how long it took her to drive down to Cornwall. Elaine is interviewed about the news her Death Row husband of five days is about to receive a lethal injection.

Lesbians until something better comes up, they enjoy the cosy security of life in a tight-knit coastal community, but their chances of finding suitable men are more remote than the village itself. Its main character is a judge who serves in a family court, and in addition to the family-related cases that she adjudicates, many episodes of the show focus on her own experiences as a divorced mother, and on the experiences of her mother, a social worker who works in the field of child welfare. This series was based on the life experiences of Brenneman's mother.
