The Covenant (The Permissible Speech)
The story of the Covenant (العهد) unfolds in a fantasy world in an unset time and place, in an atmosphere of excitement, crime, horror and drama blended with magic and fantasy. The story of 3 small neighbouring villages and the struggles among the members of Aldiabh family to gain control over the villages and the Covenant which sets the rules of the land. The Family do not hesitate at anything in order to reach their goals, lying, ploting, stealing and even killing the people closest to them.
Seasons
1. The first prophecy: سبع نوايا تمر
Kamal Al-Dhib is being betrayed by his wife and brother and his son is the sole witness.
2. The second prophecy: الله أكبر
Anisa's husband and children plan to murder her father for power.
3. The third prophecy: العهد
A meeting is held at El-Nattat hamlet to decide on some modifications to be made to the Traditional Testament in accordance with their interests and preferences.
4. The fourth prophecy: ليل وقضبان
Time passes by, and those who were children are now grown-ups.
5. The fifth prophecy: حلم من بكره
El-Hashashin group vows loyalty to Sawsan. Aalaa and Sahar see a glimpse of the future.
6. The sixth prophecy: آن الأوان
When Akmal refuses to follow Raya's diabolical plot, she suggests the plan to Alaa.
7. The seventh prophecy: شمس الليل
A meeting is held to discuss the issues of the three hamlets.
8. The eight prophecy: فارس من الظلام
Al-Dhawi conducts a referendum concerning the execution of Sawsan and Alaa, and the inhabitants vote in favor of it
9. The ninth prophecy: بنت هتعدل المايل
Aalaa reports that Sawsan's body is not in the grave, and to everyone's shock, it turns out that Sawsan is alive.
10. The tenth prophecy: الكلام المباح
Suspicions circulate about Sawsan being the girl mentioned in the prophecy that revolves around a girl from El-Dib lineage.
11. The eleventh prophecy: أبناء وقتلة
Now that Sawsan is believed to be the girl mentioned in the prophecy, a girl called Fathy goes to her and offers her services as a maid.
12. The twelfth prophecy: دم مشعل
Sajaj is terrified of losing her son while Sahar rushes to the cave to save him
13. The thirteenth prophecy: من هنا نبدأ
Mouheeb refuses Al-Dhawi's suggestion and Sawsan tries to confront everyone with their ignorance as to what is in the prophecy.
14. The fourteenth prophecy: الشال الأحمر
Sawsan reports the permissible speech terms to the people of El-Nattat hamlet while Akmal announces the same to the people of the Ladies' hamlet.
15. The fifteenth prophecy: ثورة الشك
Sahar shows Fathy her healing powers and tells her that she is the girl in the prophecy while Fathi helps Sawsan and bring her the forged testament.
16. The sixteenth prophecy: قرارات مصيرية
Nagar and Fathy embark on a journey to find the real testament.
17. The seventeenth prophecy: الوشم
Sajaj sleeps next to Obai and he ends up shocked. Sawsan urges Fathy to confess to who stole the testament.
18. The eighteenth prophecy: الوباء
Mouheeb meets a lady at the cemetery and Zeinhom overhears them. Sawsan tries to persuade Mohib that they have to join forces.
19. The ninteenth prophecy: القافلة في الطريق
Al-Dhawi sends the people seeking healing to the to be treated at the hands of the girl in the prophecy.
20. The twentieth prophecy: مأساة كفر القلعة
Zeinhom reveals to the people of the hamlet the reason Mouheeb covers his hands and the toxins that run in his blood.
21. The twenty-first prophecy: باب الجنة
The original copy of the testament is revealed.
22. The twenty-second prophecy: في الأصل كانت إستمنوها
Istamannouha confirms that according to the testament, the only family entitled to rule is the El-Dib family. She confronts Abadir who had plans to have all the girls of El-Dib family murdered.
23. The twenty-third prophecy: العودة
Mouheeb's grave is found empty.
24. The twenty-fourth prophecy: دم مولانا
Sajaj reveals that Raya has murdered al-Dhawi while Sahar tells her she has the original testament.
25. The twenty-fifth prophecy: السلم والثعبان
Sahar refuses to join forces with Sajaj, saying that the two of them are at the two ends of the spectrum.
26. The twenty-sixth prophecy: ليلة الخروج
Things aggravate when Al-Dhawi preaches at the people of the hamlet and tells them he has been chosen to be the mouthpiece until the prophecy is revealed.
27. The twenty-seventh prophecy: خط النار
Sawsan leaves Nagar at the Ladies' hamlet and goes with El-Hashashin to the Castle hamlet to take over the leadership.
28. The twenty-eighth prophecy
When Alaa, Sondos, Sawsan, and the others meet, they decide to go to the cemetery to save Sahar.
29. The twenty-ninth prophecy: للحب قصة أخيرة
Istamannouha gives Alaa the original copy of the testament. Sahar breaks Mouheeb's dreaded curse. Al-Dhawi devises a plot to get rid of Mouheeb.
30. The thirtieth prophecy: يمكن عنده حق
Aalaa is executed. The girl mentioned in the prophecy is revealed. Obai reveals his true intentions to Istamannouha.
